We took our dog to Banfield, Colerain location November 15th 2025 at about 9:15am and at first things were going fairly ok but the atmosphere was just off, first starting with the manage on duty that day. She did explain what was going on but again the demeanor and attitude was off. Fast forward to when we got the call about our dog, apparently the staff was scared and said he was aggressive after they tried pressing his stomach which he was in pain and was sick, the lady proceeded to tell us that he was sick and that he had blood in his urine and feces that was also diarrhea. She then proceeded to give me pricing and ask if I was picking up and I asked what was the fee for him to stay if I didn't make it and she said that he could not stay he had to be picked up. Now When our dog was picked up we were told that he could not return unless he had a muzzle or some sort of medicine that is supposed to calm him, they left our dog sitting in his bleed and feces until we picked up, our dog smelled badly and apparently is sick and we were just trying to get care for him, he is not an aggressive dog at all, just as human if you were sick you would be upset if someone pressed on your stomach and it was painful, the staff there just made it seem as if our dog was just so terrible and the worse dog ever and that he made it hard to do their job. They put him on a special food to help get his gut back in order and then we were told if we didn't buy it that day they would not release him to us but these were the same people who told us that he could not stay over night if we couldn't make it before they closed. The service there was horrible and neither one of our dogs will be coming back, I don't believe our dogs or any other dogs are in good hands there, We will not tolerate the disrespect and out right neglect of our animals, the staff should be ashamed of the business that they are giving customers and the business that we received yesterday. We even had to go to the back to get our own dog they would not bring him out, we basically did their job for them.

Once informed my pup was a bit vicious, they made sure she could be cared for while keeping everyone safe. Great job!
