  Absolutely love our groomer Abby T at Petco in Chillicothe. She goes above and beyond every time! I always book my two dogs together, a dachshund and golden retriever. My golden retriever has to be done last and can’t be put in the cage after she’s done because she drools all over herself in a cage. So she goes above and beyond to keep her on a leash and wait till I get back to pick her up! This last time I also didn’t get her last paw trimmed since my trimmer died and I couldn’t find the charger, so without charging for a hair cut she went ahead and fixed up that last paw for me. She always has the best things to say about my dogs as well as the entire staff always compliments them every time they see them! It can be a bit pricy at times (especially with a large dog and especially when needing a good deshedding for the golden) but it’s worth it!

  The only pet technician I have had a good experience with was Melinda, The pet technician leader, she wasn't there yesterday but the lady that did have our dog (which wasn't feeling good by the way) acted rough and uncaring when our dog felt upset, I could see that she was upset and the lady was not trying to comfort her at all, she acted rude and like she didn't even like animals. From now on I'm going to make sure Melinda is the only one that takes care of her.

  We took my dog, Murphy, to be groomed at Petco in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was so anxious when we picked him up and he has never been like that before. Usually he wants to walk around and we get toys. He couldn’t wait to leave the store. We went straight to the car and upon arriving home, we saw blood, a lot of blood, on the blanket he was laying on. They cut his balls and it was a very significant cut. How the hell can you do that and not tell the owner?! Accidents happen but SAY SOMETHING!! Abby was the groomer and I’m super disappointed she thought it was ok to not a say a word. We frequent Petco. We loved the store! We have taken our dog many times but now we have to find another groomer. Petco, train those employees better!!
