- LMLisa MooresDec 25, 20251.0Appt was at noon for bath and haircut. When I dropped my dog off, I asked if they were running on time and was told yes. I called at 3:10 as I hadn’t been called to pick her up yet and was told she still needed to be groomed. She was put in a cage for three hours which makes her very anxious. When my appt is at noon, her grooming should start then, not three hours later when I’m told they are ready for her. Don’t take your pet here. We won’t be back!
- RRRachel V (raev87)Sep 25, 20255.0I’ve taken my 2 1/2 year old pit bull/AmStaff mix (Lucy) to this grooming salon about 5 times now, and I’m always super happy! Now, she doesn’t have major grooming needs since she’s short haired, but she gives me and my husband a very hard time with toenail clipping. My vet charges $30 for toenail clipping, and it’s just a way better deal to take her to Petco for grooming (even with a tip). They will also do anal gland expression, which Lucy desperately needs. I can do the less-than-desirable task myself but I don’t think I do it as well as a groomer or vet, so I appreciate they include this in the basic bath. So far Amanda and Jenna have been Lucy’s groomers, and they are always friendly, happy to see Lucy, and bring her back looking shiny and soft, with her claws hardly making any noise on the floor :) Communication is also fantastic! I actually live closer to the Petco on Five Mile in Anderson but they don’t offer grooming :( My mom lives in Amelia and this is super convenient. Thank you to the Amelia Petco grooming (and floor) team!

They are the best at keeping me updated on how he did and how he reacts to things. This last time was the best he has done and our groomer ( I forget your name I’m sorry!) made sure to tell me how good he did. We love them!!
