Very disappointed with the total experience of the VETCO CLINIC on central park Ave Yonkers! I called way in advance to have my small dog looked over by the vet I went there and was greeted by the lady who sits at front desk or anyone i went up to the front desk ask for paperwork I was told I would be filling out as a first time visit to the New clinic VETCO it was very small not too many places to sit and wait I was given an appointment on 3/20/36 @ 11:30 am I got there earlier due to what I was told about the paper work I was to fill out i had a seat and was waiting about two and a half hours I was not very happy with it especially a new customer to the VETCO CLINIC to have my dog examined by the vet more so because my dog is small and issue with her bk legs she can't go outside and do her stuff it has to be on a peewee pad and I have to clean her up because she cannot squat on her legs she goes all the way down and needs to be cleaned up point and case is she began to get anxious and couldn't hold in her urine anymore so I was getting upset because they put me in a room finally after the long wait and the vet i belive he said his name was Dr.James he examined her briefly the sudden was called by a tech saying that a dog he had treated before was having a bad reaction so of course he had to leave to the animal that was having the issue so I waited in the exam room with a tech and we were just talking I asked her we're is the vet he never returned back to finish attending to my dog the tech stated he went to lunch

I've been coming to Vetco since last year for my dog's vaccinations and vet visits. So far, I haven't had any problems with the service Vetco provides. Appointments are always on time, and if I have any questions about my dog, they're always there to answer any concerns.

I’m very frustrated with my experience at Vetco. They provided my puppy with a 1-year prescription for Simparica that was based on his weight at the time, but as expected, my puppy quickly outgrew the weight range the prescription was written for. For the past two months, I’ve had to come in monthly just to pick up his medication, which is inconvenient—especially when this medication could easily be shipped to my home with an updated prescription. I asked multiple times for the prescription to be updated to reflect his current weight, and each time I was met with excuses about why they “can’t” do it. That raises the question: why issue a one-year prescription in the first place if it can’t be adjusted for a growing puppy? What’s even more frustrating is that Vetco has a sign stating customers can request a printed prescription, yet they refuse to provide one. This makes it feel like the goal is to force customers to continue buying directly from them, rather than acting in the best interest of the pet owner. On top of that, I asked for my invoice to be emailed to me because I felt I was charged more than expected, and they never sent it. The lack of transparency is concerning. Overall, this experience has felt money-driven rather than customer- or pet-focused, and I would not recommend Vetco if you value transparency, convenience, or flexibility in your pet’s care.
