Don’t take your pets here ! I have two cats with plans here & I’m definitely canceling ASAP. One of my cats had knots so we asked them to groom her, whoever cut her decided to skip one of her arms, other cat had a visit today, she was returned to me covered in her own pee which is extremely concerning, how do I know they didn’t abuse her or something since she’s never done anything like that

I have been going to Banfield for over 20 years and using their wellness plan for my pets. It is convenient and helpful to keep up on my pets vaccinations and records. My fur children are always happy to visit .

I have had several issues with this office on multiple occasions. Firstly, my dog is labeled as aggressive and is required to be lightly sedated for appointments. The office knows this and takes their time; as time passes the drugs wear off. Secondly, the wait times are ridiculous. If your appointment is at 2:15, you won’t be seen until almost 3. They’ll argue that severe patients get priority but this is a regular occurrence on every visit I’ve had. Thirdly, the doctor’s bedside manner isn’t great. They speak with flat tones and almost seem as though they get irritated when you ask questions. All of these issues I have overlooked because they aren’t a big deal but TODAY.
My dog had an incident that requires fluids to be administered daily as a treatment. We made an appointment for techs to administer the fluids because it has been difficult to do at home. On his visit today he was taken back and came back in less than 5 minutes. Thats not enough time to administer the fluids. When asked how many mL he was given we were given a vague answer. When confronted about whether they even administered the fluids, we could not get a straight answer. The bag was at the same level and my dog did not have a fluid bump that he usually has. We were lied to about receiving treatment and they had the audacity to try to charge for a service they did not do. DO NOT GO HERE! THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED!

This place deserves 0 stars. I’ve been coming to this Banfield location for about 6 years and haven’t had the best experience. I feel like the staff and doctors do not care about you or your pet. I went to them about 2 weeks ago for my dog. I gave them a urine sample for my dog because I’m concerned about a discharge she had. They sent the urine sample into the lab for testing. I never got a call back for test results but when I called 2 days ago, they said they had the test results and the dr would give me a call back in 10 min. It’s been 2 days and the dr hasn’t called me back. Every time I call them, I’m on hold for 20+ min. I paid $200 for this urine test on top of already paying for a membership monthly. What am I actually paying for then with this “ pet insurance “ This is the worst banfeild location ever. Do not waste your money or time coming here.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
