I took my 2 year old mini schnoodle to Dr. Ardolina in the dental department to have a tooth that was causing an external abscess extracted. The consult before the surgery went smooth; both the technician and the doctor were attentive and asking all the right questions to provide the best care for Teddy. They also quoted us the lower and higher end of the itemized estimated cost so we were not blindsided. On the day of the dental surgery, they called me to inform me that they were beginning the procedure. Afterwards, they called me again to update me on his condition and pickup time. Teddy's pain management was optimized. We were sent home with thorough instructions on after-care and ample pain medication. They also called a couple days later to check in on his recovery. Overall, I had an extremely positive experience with taking my baby here.

I came here last year after my cat started to foam at the mouth after consuming flea medication. The tech was so unprofessional as I was explaining what happened she started staring away from me and smiling as if she were trying not to laugh. I don’t see how this would be funny all I care about is the well being of my cat and I felt as if the situation wasn’t being handled in a serious manner. My cat is better now but I would never come back here again.
DO YOURSELF AND YOUR PET A FAVOR AND STAY CLEAR OF THIS MONEY MILL
We brought our Doberman to VMCLI with a cytology report suggesting lymphoma. While the vet tech was kind, the doctor was cold and pushed for repeat testing that felt unnecessary. Obviously VMCLI preys on people during one of their most vulnerable and traumatic times in their lives. We were charged $100 for meds we didn’t take home and only refunded $60 without explanation. When we asked two simple questions, the receptionist Jess responded by violently kicking her chair back and yelling “I’m not helping YOU PEOPLE ANYMORE” Of course we didn’t respond to such disgusting behavior, obviously she’s dealing with deeper issues.
Dylan at the front desk was the only bright spot—kind and compassionate.
I would strongly recommend going elsewhere, such as Veterinary Referral Animal Hospital in Westbury.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this animal hospital and would strongly caution others before bringing their pets here.
My brother and I brought in his French Bulldog for an evaluation, hoping for some clear answers and proper care. Instead, the entire visit felt more like a sales pitch than a medical appointment. After taking our dog to a back room, they returned him to us soaking wet and smelling strongly of alcohol—yet no one could clearly explain what had been done or why. That alone was alarming.
What made things worse was their constant push for additional tests that didn’t seem relevant to his condition. It felt like every suggestion was more about getting us to swipe a credit card than actually helping our dog. There was no clear diagnosis, no thoughtful explanation—just guesswork paired with expensive recommendations.
On top of that, the professionalism of the staff was lacking. While we waited (for hours), the front desk staff seemed more focused on chatting among themselves than attending to concerned pet owners. It created an environment that felt careless and disorganized.
Overall, this experience left us feeling frustrated, worried, and taken advantage of. When it comes to your pet’s health, you want a team that is knowledgeable, transparent, and compassionate. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here.
I would not recommend this place to anyone who truly wants attentive and trustworthy care for their animals.

extremely money hungry people. they did not listen to my concerns with my pet. i had a staff member laugh at my dog being sick. i called the hr department and got a few emails then they went silent. i tried to call and left 7 messages to speak to the head doctor ( i was told she was in charge of the facility) and she won’t even have the courage to call me back. it seems like the vets that work there do not know how to care for animals ! stay away !
