  If I can rate this Valley Stream location a 0, I would. Drop-offs shouldn't take more than 8hrs! My dog was at this location from 10:40a-8p. He only came for a comp exam, anal gland expression & nail trim. He DID NOT get a nail trim! I also requested that he NOT be treated by Dr. Salam, and he was. This location is a disgrace & needs to be investigated. The wellness plans are also a scam! I requested to not have this plan anymore & I will not be taking my dog back to any of the Banfield locations!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE, I REPEAT, DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO THIS LOCATION!

  This place is the absolute worst. You can't ever call and have someone pick up, however when you walk in there, staff in the front are just sitting around and casually talking. The level of service at this place is disgusting. I live 5 mins away and often have to drive 30 mins away to Jericho Turnpike as they answer the phones and extend appropriate customer service, answer questions and schedule appointments. Banfield Valley Stream might as well not be there in my opinion.

  My name is Jenell Ellison, Esq. After today's visit I am filling a veterinarian complaint against Dr. Morin Sallama and consulting with the relevant attorneys regarding legal action against Banfield for their practices and scam activity. I dropped my dog chase off for his annual comprehensive exam at 9 am, not only did I not hear from them until I arrived at the location demanding my dog back, they did not do any of the test that come with my plan, but checked the tests off as completed. No blood work was completed, none of the items listed as completed, other than the vaccines, were completed. I have no blood work report, nothing, fecal wasn't done, nothing, my dog was there 6 hours, he only received vaccines. SIX hours and nothing. I asked for a review of the lab results because at his last visit they stated that his lipid levels were high. She told me if I want blood work done I have to come out of pocket. I pointed out that the print out says blood/lab work was completed? She said no. I asked why does the paperwork state that it was done then? They handed me a fecal tube and all, saying he was empty. As soon as he got outside he pooped, after sitting there 6 hours all day. Absolutely not, I am filing a complaint. I am begging you all to pay attention to your visits, reports, and everything when you drop and pick your pets up at this location. My dog was likely sitting in a case 6 hours, zero tests done, no reports on these test, which are marked as completed. Only vaccines. Please see the attached photos as proof of how they "mark off" everything as completed. I have no blood work and they threw me a container saying bring poop back after having him there 6 hours!!!!! The proof is here in the pictures. It says all these things were COMPLETED AND THEY WERE NOT! Filing a complaint. I am not the one to be scammed. And I have a recording of them saying they are trained to check these things off as done even though they are not. So if they want to come on here and play that "customer care" "we didn't" do anything wrong stuff. It's a no. I have it recorded.

  Banfield Pet Hospital was excellent. I brought 2 kittens for vacation and wellness check. They accommodated the kittens besides it was during the holiday season. They were professional in my dealings with them. I personally met Dr. Sallama. She took the time to explain to me the care done fir tye kittens. *****
