During my visit I explained very clearly to the vet. There was a possibility that my dog was pregnant . The vet examined my dog and assured me she was not in fact pregnant. She proceeded to give my dog DAPP live vaccine, knowing the risk of given this vaccine to a pregnant dog without any x-ray or sonogram. Solely on her physical examination. The doctor at the time assured me that my dog was not in fact pregnant I trusted her professional diagnosis. A week later, I noticed movement inside the belly of my Dog and a week after that, she gave birth to four puppies. Dr. Tam was the name of the doctor at the hospital. One of my puppies, unfortunately, was born with severe birth defect. It was explained to me by the manager of the clinic that even though Dr. Tam made the mistake of giving my dog the vaccine while she was pregnant That the possibility of the vaccine causing the defect was minimal in any case. The doctor made a false diagnosis I cannot be sure that that vaccine did not affect my puppies. I trusted them. I trusted the doctor. I am not a medical professional, but I am very hurt over the loss of my little puppy, and I cannot be sure by any means that the vaccine was not the cause of his death. I will not be returning to Banfield pet hospital. I buried my little puppy today and I am praying to God that the other three live long and healthy lives.

I've been a customer at Banfield since 2013 when I had my first dog..a female Yorkie ( Gucci). Gucci has since passed on but I remain a customer because I now have four dogs.lol ..Gucci (G2), Prada, Fendi, and Dior. I totally trust Dr.Cheng, and Dr. Tam, with my 4 children, and am confident they're making the best decisions for them. Scheduling appointment is easy and the staffers are friendly and knowledgeable. They've recently added staff which cuts down on the check-in/ check- out process. A special thank you to Jessica ( front desk) and Leah ( coordinator ) for their assistance in scheduling appointments with ease.

Jessica and Laura at the front desk greeted me upon arrival- I was checked in quickly and seen by Dr. Cheng. Rome also helped take my dog in the back for X-rays- he handled her with such care and patience as she can get nervous coming to the vet sometimes. The doctor was very patient with me and my chocolate lab Maggie addressing all my issues in detail and with such kindness ! Highly recommend - the staff here is wonderful!

Disappointing experience with Banfield Pet Hospital on Forest Ave. We booked appointments for our 2 Pomeranians, Nico, and Nanooku, three weeks in advance for July 24th, only to have them canceled the day of due to Dr. Chen calling out. The kicker? We received repetitive automated confirmation calls every few days for three weeks, only to have the appointment canceled at the last minute.
The staff, particularly the registration employee, were understanding and professional, but it's clear the issue lies with Banfield's management. A large organization like Banfield should have a contingency plan in place for doctor absences, including backup doctors.
We're frustrated, especially since this conflicted with our family vacation plans. To reschedule for July 31st, we'd appreciate a discount on our next visit. Hopefully, Banfield will take steps to prevent such last-minute cancellations in the future and make it right for their customers. Banfield, you dropped the ball, maybe change your company name to Blame fields Pet Hospital! As we are Blaming your Management!

You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
