Both the cashier and the manager were shockingly rude and unprofessional while I was simply trying to purchase a fish. The verbal interaction with a male employee was completely inappropriate and disrespectful. I never leave reviews, but this one needed to be posted. What made this even more unacceptable was the fact that many of the fish in the store were clearly in poor condition, showing a lack of basic care and responsibility, which was simply ironic. I have been a loyal Petco customer for years at the Patchogue location, but after moving to Centereach, this experience guarantees I will never return to this store. The lack of professionalism and respect was extremely disappointing.

Very knowledgeable, patient, passionate and genuinely took the time to explain everything including proper care and dietary requirements for my daughter’s new pet … she was so amazing that I walked in to get one and then I decided to get two. She literally walked the isle with me and helped me pick out all the things that I needed to provide a comfortable space for the guinea pigs …. Thank you Jackie … you rock!
