    GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!! The vet encouraged me to sign up for a new wellness plan even when she knew my dog may not make it, which is exactly what happened. I called several times after my dog returned home from getting treatment and fluids with my concerns and I received no help. I had to take my dog to an emergency clinic and she was gone within 12 hours of being seen at Banfield. It shows in my records that I did not approve many of the things the vet chose to do. The one thing I wanted done and she agreed to was the xray, however, she never did one. Now I am paying for a wellness plan for my dog that died within 12 hours of starting the plan. Dawn was who I dealt with trying to get some answers but she lacks empathy. This place is despicable. I gave it one star because the staff are wonderful but that is it. My poor dog suffered in pain until I went to the emergency clinic. They should be ashamed. They could have at the minimum sent me a note or called after my dog died. Dr. Amanda H Huckle should find another career since she only cares about the money.

    Dr. Oke + the team in Saratoga are incredible. I am a very nervous dog mom, and my tiny little girl is very fragile. 🐶 She had a dental cleaning + some tests done, so we were a wreck all day! 😭She’s doing well today, and so am I. We are on the optimum wellness plan + it’s so worth it 💯Thank you Saratoga Banfield! 🫶🏽🦷🪥

    I've been coming to Banfield for a few years with my cat but we recently started fostering a dog with some reactivity issues. After a bad experience at a previous vet, I was nervous bringing her in but the team at Saratoga was absolutely amazing! They really took their time with her and emphasized building a good relationship so she wasn't so scared. She was able to get her exam and updated shots with minimal puppy tantrums. 11/10 would recommend

    Well my first bad experience with these people occurred several months ago when I had brought my female cat into them about her itching and licking to exhaustion. So I’m in one of the rooms and in walks this younger female veterinarian and I’m talking explaining what’s going on with my cat and she ask if I have tried putting flea and tic medication on her and I explained I didn’t like that stuff put on my cat and that I have not noticed any on her or better than that I haven’t had any on me or flea bites on me and she blurted out that fleas don’t like humans . I almost debated her on that by asking if she could explain the black plague but I said to her flea’s don’t like humans? She replied with a straight face again no they don’t. I was really astounded by her being more of a saleswoman than a veterinarian concerned about your animals well being . My cat suffers from an over active thyroid gland and according to them she is itching and scratching due to that but everything they have done has done nothing to help her . She is still doing the same thing and it’s been a very long time. I fear she may die if I don’t seek another veterinarian soon and I might speed that search up after my last encounter where they double charged me 281.82 and then made it hard to get my money back and I still don’t see it in my account and I even drove 45 minutes back to this business because they said the only way to get my money back is to go back there and have them run out the card again. I go back to try and accomplish this and they are having trouble getting this done , all the while people are waiting in line behind me and getting uptight because the cashier is having to call this person call that person and then she finally gets the card to go and it says declined but they again are putting money back into my account and it’s saying declined, lol. She says I don’t know what is happening I’ve never had this happen. We finally get the machine to accept the payment to my card and she spins the council around to show me green amount representing the amount that they double charged me so I guess I am to assume it’s going back into my account. It’s 9 pm on 01/06/2025 in the evening and I still don’t see it in my account and this was done at four pm , maybe tomorrow I can report that they finally gave my money back to me . I guess the moral of this story is Write them a check so they don’t have the opportunity to make a huge error of 281.82 and then make it difficult to your money back. So be aware that if you pay them by debit card you may experience the very same treatment. Pay these people by check so they don’t get the chance to rob you of your hard earned money, had I done so I wouldn’t be still trying to get my money returned to me . Update I checked my account and it has indeed been put back into my account 01/07/2026 . So this little adventure started on evening of the fifth and just now getting my money returned on the 7th . So this brings up another question. Who would have paid for the insufficient funds charge had a debit came back in the time it took them to return my money? If I had paid by check this wouldn’t even of happened. I gave them an opportunity to double charge me and they took it . I’m glad I got my money back but it was not a nice experience they would put me on hold for over 20 minutes and not come back to the phone making me to have to hang up and call back again . Very unpleasant experience!!!!!!!
