It was his first time coming to Petco to be groomed and he suffers from anxiety but he is normally chill and complemented to be cooperative at the groomers besides this. Unfortunately my dog was obviously very against the harsh action displayed by the man as he didn’t even try to properly ease my dog into the process, Gave us a bunch of issues, and clearly didn’t know how to properly handle a dog. I hope Riverhead’s Petco properly trains their staff and makes sure their fit for their role because I would hate for someone’s sweet dog to go through this as well.
