Myles from Acquartica is a superb Ambassador and embodiment of genuine customer service; I must also add that Tommy is following in his footsteps. Were it not for the two aforementioned, I would have given a 1/2 star and NEVER had gone back!! The day before I went there and stood up for over 20 minutes whilst being stared like a Zoo animal with those on duty assisting customers of a certain race and totally failing to ask me if I needed assistance. Conversely, it was a total Paradoxial narrative and expericne when I encountered Myles from the Aquatic department. I would ONLY shop and stop there if Myles and Tommy are on duty.

This doesn't look like a retail store when you're on metropolitan avenue or even from the direction of woodhaven boulevard. There are no windows on the metropolitan avenue side. It looks like a bunker. But once you get inside wow it's pet heaven and the lines to the cashiers in the front kind of block you when you want to go in the back. There's that many people that like their pets. It has all kinds of stuff for all kinds of pets. Whether they're scaly or furry, they have feathers or not. It's got pretty much a lot of everything. Interestingly enough it didn't have sunglasses for dogs, which surprise me. It does have cute outfits that you can put on your dog and cat. If you can get your cat to hold still you don't will hold still. Overall, there's a lot of people that like that pets. Hence, Petco is a place to go.

theres this one male employee who is SO rude. me and my boyfriend was walking through the aquatic aisle and came upon this empty tank of water with its lid off and a big pipette attached. out of curiosity, i took the pipette and in-took the TINIEST amount of water and squeezed it back out into the cage. mind you, there were NO fish inside. just shells and rocks. this employee then approaches us and the first thing he said was “can you not touch that. you guys obviously don’t work here so if anything happens its on you” in a very unfriendly and rude tone. while me and my boyfriend left, he put the lid that was on the side back on and removed the supplies that were originally attached onto the cage. im just upset because there were so may ways he could have handled that interaction differently. he could have said “sorry guys, you aren’t allowed to touch that. its for employees”, but he had to give an attitude even though the the fish tank was open and no one was watching over it.

I only requested a bath because I’ve had a bad experience with a groomer who did a poor job on my dog in the past, and I wanted to give this place a try. They took three hours just to give him a bath, and when I went to pick him up, they handed him over soaking wet, ears and paws, i’m not a professional but i have the knowledge that the paws and ears are most important part to be dry. On top of that, they charged me $84 for a bath session where my dog was left completely wet. It was a total lack of professionalism—what a terrible place.
