- RDRosetta DiCaroNov 16, 20255.0I have had my 6 year of cat for only 5 months, previous owners only gave her dry food to eat for 6 years and she never liked wet food...i introduced her to cans which she only likes shredded.....took her to the vet for her shots and because she had an accident outside the cat litter...only to find out she gets uti's and it forms into crystals, no big deal put her on the uti dry and wet canned foods...the big problem with that is she is also allergic to chicken!! Almost all of the uti cat foods have chicken in it!! Also she doesnt like pate only shreded...which they dont even make for uti unless only flavor is chicken....I have spoken to the vet multiple times...hardly any help from them...they want u to buy expensive food that will definitely cost over $200 a month, i am a low income single mother trying to make it in the big world. I went into petco today at 61-35 junction blvd....LOST AND CONFUSED! to try and find a budget friendly resolution as to what i should do. Inonly found purina pro plan uti pate and was just going to force my cat to just suck eat it...then i met and spoke to a petco worker RAFAEL!!! He helped me figure out a great system and use bone broth to make my cats food more moist....he took his time with me...answered all my questions and made sure I left with a solution thankyou so much

I had a situation with a dog that was abandoned in my area. I took her straight to the store to get food, a harness & collar. He helped me get a harness that perfectly fit her & walked me through the food options I could get. He's amazing & deserves a pay raise!
