    This Petco restroom surprised me — not quite the wild habitat I expected. Clean overall, but the aroma was a confusing blend of sewer gas and tropical pineapple, like a Tiki bar built directly over a manhole. It really made me question my life path for a moment. The floor has clearly seen many paws and boots, but at least it wasn’t sticky. A few paper towels were tossed aside — a reminder that some humans are the real animals here. Foam soap did its job, and the paper towels had actual absorbency (a luxury I don’t take for granted). The toilet, however, seems to have migrated at least twice or sprung enough leaks to lose all its silicone — maybe that’s where the Eau de Sewer Lagoon originated. Overall? Not bad for a pet store potty break. Verdict: 3 out of 5 Golden Plungers — Clean enough, but olfactory confusion deducts points.

    These girls are so professional. Only two working the entire store and they are handling everything amazingly!! Even when an old man came in yelling about wait time (barely 5 minutes for one mouse) they held everything together. I did not get either girls’ names but they are amazing and should get a raise or at least bonus holiday pay for dealing with karens!! I love this petco and I dont go to any other pet supply store. The workers are always so kind and make sure you get what you need. Dear that Karen, Please treat humans like humans.

    I wanted fish for my 1o gal aquarium and the your attendant would not sell me more than 2 fish. She said the tank was too small and she could get fired. I left with none.

    The staff is somewhat friendly but not. We had to wait quite a few minutes for help and then were given a hard time when it was unnecessary. We bought 6 fish the woman that helped with getting the fish the night before was great! When we got home one of them was pretty much dead but I couldn’t go back to the store as they would have been closed! The next morning barely 12 hours later! I brought the fish back to just get a new one I wasn’t asking for a refund for my 3.99 fish just a new one. I was told by the young girl who helped us that a water sample was needed and she would exchange the fish this time only and that it stated on the fish bag that we needed to provide a water sample! Well i read the bag when I got home with my new fish that she reluctantly exchanged and it states that they grantee fish for 30 days and a Receipt is required. It also states that a water sample is recommended but not that it is required so if I have my receipt within the first 30 days it should be no problem! But clearly was. This is not the first time something has been an issue and if something is required it needs to say REQUIRED not RECOMMENDED .
