Yesterday he was there for almost 5 hours, and I had a very rude lady dismiss me when I got there. They said it took longer due to the tools not getting through his coat, and the groomer got frustrated. I’m sorry but what?? 5 hours without water, bathroom, and stress is a lot. Not to mention 130+$… His ears are red and irritated, they cut him wayyy shorter than I asked for and they said it was because of the tools. No. I didn’t consent to a shorter cut or anything along the lines of 5 hours of stress for my dog. Be careful with what you ask and be demanding. It’s Petco,, not a mom and pop shop!!!

When I arrived for my 12:00 appointment, I was told it would take about an hour and a half to two hours. I came back at 2:45 to check on my dog, only to be told they had just one groomer working and she wouldn’t be done until 4:30–5:00! At that point, I asked to cancel and get my dog back. The woman at the front desk had to go ask for approval to even cancel the appointment. I left without any services provided after waiting nearly three hours. The next day, I found fleas on my dog. Fleas! I have four animals at home and have never had a flea problem before. I called the store, and they insisted there was no way my dog got them there—despite that being the only place she’d been in weeks. Their “solution” was to offer me a discount on another grooming appointment. As if I’d ever take my sweet girl back there after that experience! Terrible communication, long wait times, and now a flea issue. Absolutely awful experience.

The selection was scattered throughout a big section of the store. Even the staff person there who helped me look for it. Had a hard time helping me look for the product I was looking for.
