  I went in to buy meal worms and a cashier by the name of Nick was working. He was promoting the rewards program for $9.99 a month. I nicely declined it. He continued saying how much I’d save ect. Again, I declined it. Welp he wrong me out and overcharged me!! I called the store the next morning asking how much 500 ct. giant meal worms are. The women that answered the phone didn’t want to look so asked her coworker near her who also did not want to walk over and look and gasped $15.99. I said ok your website says $20.99 and explained what happened last night and how I was over charged. I was advised to “come pick up my $5 bucks.” I stated their cashier stole from me I am calling corporate. They said ok and hung up. While I was on the phone with corporate Joanna a women who left a message on my voicemail stating she was the store manager left a message stating that there was a mistake. The meal worms are $25.99 BUT they have old ones on sale for $15.99. She stated they will honor the $15.99 THIS TIME. Woah! they like to take people as a fool! A) where was the sign showing the old ones on sale and the fresh ones for $10 more? B) how do you know which ones I bought? There was no transaction number or any information for you to know which ones I bought. Anyways I called back and advised her that the Petco website that is shared at multiple locations state they are $20.99 she asked if I was going to let her talk. At that point in time anything that came out of her mouth would be assumed a lie. I do have a claim in with corporate. I am going on the local town Facebook and having every single person be aware and check their receipts. Also it’s not $5 it’s actually more it’s 8% sales tax and also I paid $40.10 the total was $28.07 I told him to keep the 3 cents. The MAJOR point to this whole thing is honesty, and integrity will always get you farther then trying to cover up wrong doings. I hope this can be used as an example going forward on how not to do business. I for one will never walk foot in that store location AGAIN. As a person shame on the manager justifying her employees decisions.

  We wanted a companion for our three year old female ferret. Visited the store and found this awesome guy (see pics). They source their animals from a reputable breeder. He’s the most adorable creature, well mannered, adjusted to his new home quickly. Full of P and V, and our girl adores him. The associates at the store were very helpful. Highly recommended.

  Completely disappointed with the Staff member that assisted me on my visit.. Long story short I went in for Information or advice on how to prevent or help avoid fatality in one of my pets after losing a brother. She told me some things i wouldn’t have to “worry about” and what do you know. LITERALLY EVERYTHING she told me not to worry about happened and I now have lost my other pet and am completely devastated

  all of the tanks had crusty dead fish that look like they’ve been dead for awhile… I was taking a picture of this pretty blue fish and at the top you can just see two very dead fish. Checked the other tanks, majority had the same exact thing. Just dead fish floating near the vents. Terrible
