- LClarissa colonJan 2, 20261.0Petco clinic has excellent services however there grooming department is poorly managed. It would have been my dog 4th time they had been groomed with Petco and everytime I make an appointment I always address my dog has heart murmur and requested for early appointments. Upon my arrival on a newly scheduled appointment since they scheduled me incorrectly at the UWS location, the manager turned my down because of dog condition and advised her veterinary needs to recommend a groomer service based on her condition. I was utterly upset at the professional of the manager on how she handled this situation especially when I needed to be accommodating for there error and woke up early to be there on time twice. I wouldn’t recommend this location and unfortunately my colleague had a similar scenario, she told Petco ahead of time her dogs concerns and they refused to assist on the day of the appointment. Go to PetSmart since they are smarter in handling dogs care.

I picked the basic grooming packackage of 110 but when I got to the talk to the groomer she told me well for that price we don’t do this this and this but for this higher priced package of 145 you get this all done. I have gone to other groomers and it was much simpler and easier as well as less expensive. They do not make it clear at all on the website so be aware and call before booking so not surprised when you get there.
