- DPDiana PfaffDec 8, 20251.0The groomers booked too many dogs the day my dog had her appointment. After they texted me to pick her up, they let me wait for over 30min while my dog sounded pretty stressed out in their back room. I asked them if that’s my dog that’s barking like that and when I can have her back. They continued to let me wait. In the end, they came out with my dog who had a bloody bruise about half an inch long on her forehead. Supposedly, she hit her head on the crate. When I asked if they had video footage of the back room, they told me they didn’t. My dog got a simple wash and I don’t understand why they couldn’t just return her to me while I was waiting there. They certainly don’t care about the dogs they groom. They certainly don’t care about the customers either. It was an upsetting experience. Petco sucks.

They said my dogs immunization was a bit not updated and let me paid for update. They then scheduled me for grooming for the next day. I mentioned my wedding is in 2 days and they reassure that my dog is going to get her grooming for sure the next day. We ended up talking to the manager Daniel and Groomer for 58minutes before we are sure that this is not going to be solved. Charleen is afraid of big dogs( my fiancer even offered to stay and help). Daniel maintained he was too busy to help. They did not give me a convincing reason because they know how big my dog is at the very beginning. Now they did not even mention they are sorry. Or maybe they are not. I am not sure what did I pay all three years of Petco membership for.
