  The entire store appears to be contaminated with rodent droppings. Please be cautious with your pets and avoid any exposed treats. The dog beds in particular look like nesting spots for rodents — almost all were visibly covered in feces. Petco doesn’t seem to be taking adequate action. I understand this is a difficult issue to manage, but it’s unacceptable to invite pets into an environment with this level of contamination. Rodent feces can be dangerous — even FATAL — to dogs.

  I had a terrible experience at this Petco location and want to warn other customers. I brought my dog in for a grooming appointment today, took time off work, and lost income because of it. When I arrived, the groomer Kayleen R. refused to groom my dog — not because of any issue with my dog’s behavior or health — but because she said she “felt uncomfortable with me.” The situation became even worse when she tried to force me to sign a document without letting me read it first, which is completely unacceptable. When I asked to see the paper before signing, she refused and became rude. I showed them a picture of my dog previously groomed at another location with no problems, yet they still refused to provide the service. There is no Petco policy that allows an employee to deny service because they “feel uncomfortable” with the customer, especially when the pet is calm and has no issues. I spoke with the store manager, Tania, who did absolutely nothing to resolve the situation. No apology, no alternative, no solution — just dismissal. Because of this, I wasted my time, lost income for taking off work, and received no service at all. This location will be reported to corporate, and I will be pursuing this in small claims court for the financial loss and refusal of contracted service. Unprofessional, poorly trained staff, and zero accountability. I do not recommend this Petco to anyone. Edit: After the incident, I checked my Petco account and noticed that this store placed a restriction on my profile, blocking me from booking grooming appointments online. The message says I now have to “call the local salon,” which clearly means the manager manually flagged my account. This was done not because of my dog’s needs, but as retaliation for me speaking up about the poor service. No customer should have their account sabotaged just because they reported an issue. This is unprofessional, petty, and completely unacceptable.

  They charge you the wrong prices for the smaller loose items close to the register at times. Some employees are more attentive then others ranging from some who will ignore you out right to others who are quite attentive to your needs. Variety for digestable rawhide bones are limited at best. Hardly any true "natural" snack brands offered but that goes for every Petco.
