  This is our go to kitchen in the past 5-6 years, my fur baby has venison and squash recipe and venison treats since she’s 1 year old. Everything has been great until 4 weeks ago, we picked up a batch of 24 bags of 18ozs venison and squash but the food came in with strong acid smell. My dog ended up with being sick, threw up blood and was sick for 2 days with $1500 vet bill. Now she’s recovered and there’s no other option she would eat, we returned to the store and confirmed that they’ve identified the problem in their cooking process and they will not have the same problem again. BUT the food we picked up last Sunday still has excessive water comparing to the batches we bought in the past years. Not sure what’s the solution now, we had to cut the 18ozs in half before defreezing her food or the food will have acid smell after opening for 2 days in clean container in the refrigerator which never happened previously. Each 18oz bag lasts 5-6 meals for my dog, and the food was always good in the past. PLEASE have strict quality control process on your raw materials and suppliers, the venison is overly grounded now and the squash has excessive water. The food even smells differently vs previous recipe. We will need to explore other options now, and hopefully my fur baby can adjust… we spend $5K+ a year with this kitchen specifically and this is very frustrating and disappointing!!

  So far good my to go us chicken and rice my 14 pound shiba inu loves this food. Its been 1 full year with this food.
