Bond Vet — Merrick brings primary and urgent care to the dogs and cats of Merrick, on Long Island. Our modern and friendly vet clinic is on Merrick Road between Lincoln Blvd and Frankel Blvd. Bond Vet pioneered urgent care for pets, and we also can be your primary care vet. That means you can see us for wellness exams and vaccinations, but also those evenings and weekends when your pet needs timely care for a wound, a rash, GI issues, coughing, behavioral changes, eye and ear issues, limping or any other non-life-threatening symptoms. At Bond Vet. you can typically get a same-day appointment in person, and we also offer Telehealth services 7 days a week. Bond Vet brings veterinary medicine into the modern world, and it’s our mission to make it convenient and easy to get the high-quality vet care you need, so you can book online and come see us after work, on weekends or during your lunch break. Our highly trained and collaborative veterinary team handles a wide range of cases, from wellness care (routine visits, vaccinations, spays/neuters, dental cleanings, mass removals) to more timely or unique cases, such as specialty orthopedic surgeries and conjunctivitis. She has great bedside manor which I can't say for many other veterinarians. She explained everything thoroughly and had my little baby feeling better quickly. I'm very grateful to have found her.

Jordan up front handled our phone calls before we showed up and she answered every question with grace and ease. Dr. Pimento and her vet tech Brittany handled my very mean and unfriendly cat about as well as one could imagine. She was feisty and angry and they put it in a lot of physical work to make sure our cat was treated well. We couldn't possibly have nicer things to say about our experience. I believe a woman named Kaitlyn helped with our meds as well and she was also wonderful. Highly recommend coming here if you want your animals to be treated with care, professionalism and respect. Such an incredible experience all around!

The care coordinators and doctors genuinely go above and beyond — you can truly feel how much they love and care for your pets. Watching a care coordinator kneel down just to greet and comfort an incoming pet melted my heart. While most pets aren’t exactly fans of the vet, the team here makes it a positive and welcoming experience. Dr. Pimento is truly one of a kind — there’s no one like her! The level of love and attention she’s shown my “old man” puppy, Zeppelin, has been incredible. She’s been so thorough and continues to ensure we’re doing everything possible to keep him happy and healthy. We’ll definitely keep coming back and will be bringing our other pup, Jojo, for her annual checkups too — Merrick has truly become our go-to Bond Vet!
