Bond Vets model is hiring undertrained (and so cheaper to their bottom line) vets right out of school and providing them little apprenticeship to learn how to care for patients.
As a result, this location (and its doctors) is unprofessional and does not treat dogs or their caretakers with respect. I would strongly advise against attending this location and Bond Vet altogether.
They tack on unnecessary services for the sake of personal profit, and charge rates much higher than those of higher quality vets.
Furthermore, they are incapable of quality diagnoses. They failed to diagnose an ear infection our dog had for 2 years, despite our continuous pleas that she did have an ear infection and it was not in fact allergies. Only after moving to a second opinion did we receive proper treatment.
We chose it for convenience, but we will never be returning here and I would advise all future patients to do the same.
If you do attend here, I have provided below a list of doctors I wouldn’t recommend, and a list of doctors I would recommend based on our experience with their ability to properly diagnose issues with our dog.
Doctors who failed to treat our dog with proper care:
Dr. Lau
Dr. Kantor
Dr. Denninger
Dr. Karandikar
Quality doctor care we received:
Dr. Koenig
Dr. Thomasch

They were able to fit us in on a Saturday night and gave our pet a thorough exam. Everyone was very professional and also extremely kind.

I brought my cat in 2 months ago because I noticed he may have feline asthma. They quoted me $2k and I left due to not being able to pay it at that time. I came back a month later and was then quoted $1k to run tests. Testing came back positive for feline asthma - it’s been over 2 weeks since this appointment, and the vet has not approved his prescription for his inhaler despite me calling multiple times to see what the delay is about. Approving medication for pets who need it is not a difficult task but a simple and necessary one so their condition can hopefully improve. Called again today and she told me it would be approved within half an hour since the doctor is in today… we’ll see.
