I am not someone who writes scathing reviews, but pet owners deserve to be warned—so here is a long and deeply upsetting one. Avoid this veterinary clinic at all costs. You will pay premium prices only for your pet to be neglected. This place lacks clear communication, basic compassion, and any genuine concern for the animals in their care. Our 5lb Chihuahua had been behaving abnormally for about a week—pacing in circles, jumping, appearing panicked, hiding in corners, and barely able to eat. During a visit with Dr. Yoon last Saturday (who I had a positive experience with), an X-ray revealed an abnormally small liver. She explained this could indicate inadequate blood flow to the liver and impaired toxin clearance. We were advised to proceed with an abdominal ultrasound and bile acid test, and I later confirmed multiple times that both could be done on the same day before scheduling. Because this clinic “only does ultrasounds on Fridays,” we scheduled accordingly. We were instructed to drop our dog off at 10 AM and to withhold food after dinner the night before, resulting in nearly 24 hours of fasting for a 5lb dog. At 6 PM, we were texted that the ultrasound specialist will not arrive until 7:30 PM, that the results would not be reviewed by a veterinarian until the following week, and that the bile acid test could not be done because it was too late and the clinic needed to close. Despite this, we were required to put down a $759 deposit to “schedule” the specialist. Only afterward were we told the specialist is a traveling provider with no scheduled arrival time and that this location is his last stop. Apparently, he calls 15 minutes before arriving. None of this was disclosed beforehand. We chose to pick up our dog rather than subject him to further stress. We were then told there was no guarantee of a refund, despite none of the promised services being completed. No apology was offered for the wasted day or for fasting a small dog unnecessarily. My husband and I work in healthcare and understand delays happen. What is unacceptable is the complete lack of transparency and planning. Fasting a 5lb dog all day when the clinic has no idea when the specialist will arrive is not standard care. When asked about this, the receptionist said she did not know but responded “I guess not..?”. That alone says everything.

The AI assistant is laughably bad. Got a text to come earlier, wanted to confirm, and could not reach a person over the phone.

Dr. Halle Thomasch is wonderful! You can tell she really cares and she has a good vibe. She took her time in the appointment and I trust her opinion. I’ll definitely book with her again.

Wonderful! Super clean with a really supportive and caring staff. Everyone was so sweet to our little adopted kitty and patiently explained how to care for her and the pricing breakdown etc. You can tell they genuinely love their work and the pet families they help. Highly recommend!
