- SSShaeAug 16, 20251.0Was looking for a vet for my new puppy to finish her boosters. The normal vets are usually all booked up so I figured vetco would be the way to go. We got her an appt. Loved to see that they were supposed to do a free overall health check on her. As in check her eyes ears etc. when we got there the guy checking us in was great. But then we went in the room and the “vets” were everything but friendly. They gave her a shot and a dewormer for free saying she has to be dewormed before going in public. Dismissed us with no further knowledge. I had to go out of my way to ask what I should look out for for after her shots and they then stated she may be a little tired and not as hungry. Ok great. We leave and I check the paper work. They claimed to have checked her temperature, along with her eyes, ears, lymph nodes, skin, over all look etc and put normal for everything. They did not check my pup at all, they listened to her heart gave a shot and dewormer for. Seemed to be in it for the check and not the overall health of the animals. I initially booked a second appointment to finish her vac but I will be cancelling and going somewhere else
