How unprofessional that Shelly was to my mother yesterday and how she treated her. Making her wait for 3 hours and saying the appointment she made weeks ago was invalid and unwilling to assist her. Instead of see how she can fix the issue for the appointment system she then blames the company of banfield and not making the effort to make right in helping my mother (the client). Also the treatment of my dog in doing 3 different vaccines with my dog and then my dog threw up because of how much they have her all at once and did to her my dog was unwell after. This location needs to start holding their employees accountable for mistreatment for their clients and patients

This location is so rude they will NOT accommodate you at all. They called me to rush me to my appointment and once I got there they told me they can’t see my puppy. They have this black woman as the manager and she was not helpful at all in any way. She was questioning me as if I was an employee or she was a police officer pulling me over Not even the doctor was helpful. Who hid in the back office & wouldn’t see me because I was late for a check up appointment which is ridiculous and not good customer service. Go somewhere else this place is not a good place to trust your animals with! This should be a friendly , helpful environment. Fire the whole staff to be honest.

Unfortunately after 8 years a Banfield member at so many locations, across the country due to active military household - we settled to New York this year. Due to the experience at this specific location over two visits, is the reason we have decided to leave Banfield. We drove from Astoria to this location, to be at a “not so crazy” location compared to a NYC 5Boro location, and we just had to go back home because the staff made a mistake and failed to inform us in advance that we needed to be sent medication for reactive dogs to help calm them, this has always been clearly indicated in her notes in their system, it slipped my mind that my dog was given this before as it was such an early morning rushed drop off, so we wasted the entire work morning just traveling for nothing on our time, our hour/ dollar, scheduling all around this appointment. Not only that, we showed up at 7:30 am as we were told for drop off and the staff was late to open, they never pick up their phones anyways, the only way to get to speak to a person on the phone is if you leave a voicemail only. we were outside in the cold just trying to knock. The doctor for the dental was also late, and their team suggested we wait another hour until the doctor came in at 9am. Although the staff is kind and helpful, their disorganization and no attention to detail really is disappointing to the Banfield Franchise, I’ve had nothing but positive experiences from all other locations I’ve been to. Unfortunately we will be cancelling our premium plan and will be searching for a more specialized local veterinarian.

I would love to give a -1 this time, because my poor cat was a scheduled for a booster shot with a dropped off 0900. I have to go to location because it was already 6 pm and I have not heard from the office; to my surprise and disappointment she was not ready and I was told that they were running super late due to staffing shortage. Myself and another pet owner who was there since 5 pm had to wait for 2 additional hours. This situation it is not acceptable and things need to change because my poor cat is under so much stress. She doesn’t do well with long unnecessary stays.
Please you are dealing with animals that can’t communicate like humans and let you know how stressful it is to be locked up for hours specially when they are not used to. I am so upset.
