- KPkala pollack4 days ago2.0We went to **Petco in Clifton Park to buy fish for my 3 and 5 year old and had a very disappointing experience. As soon as we walked in, the store smelled strongly of pet urine. It was busy, but when we went to the fish section, there was no one available to help us. We waited in line for 15 minutes just to ask for assistance. About 10 minutes later, a new employee came back to help us, clearly on what seemed like her first day. Instead of supporting her and helping us (since we had already been waiting close to 30 minutes), the cashier came back and helped another dad who had just walked up with older children. We then waited another 30 minutes while that customer was finished in about 10 minutes with tank and fish. In total, we were in the store for an hour just to purchase fish. If I hadn’t already promised my kids, we would have walked out. We will not be returning and will gladly drive the extra miles elsewhere.
