Everytime we get Dr. LAKELAND we have issues. We made a comprehensive appointment for our dog, she was supposed to get her shots. It should be in our dogs file that dr. Lakeland is not to see our dog. We made the appointment with Dr. Estrada when I checked our dog in, the board said Estrada. I am grandma, I only drop off and pick up the dog, all decisions are made by my daughter, her owner. Which is why there are TWO phone numbers on file. Dr. Lakeland decided to change the appointment to an illness visit because my daughter mentioned the dog had diarrhea, never gave her any of her shots, proceeded to tell me that we made the appointment with her and not any other Dr. She told us that we had to wait in a room for her because we didn't call her back when in fact we did call her back and waited on hold for over 10 mins and the person my daughter talked to said our dog was ready. Dr. Lakeland said it was because she was worried about our dog not eating and loosing weight yet they are still saying she is overweight. She blamed me for my attitude yet she has no clue how much pain I am in being disabled with a 60 pound dog pulling on me and having to deal with incompetence. I have never had an unpleasant experience here except when dealing with Dr. Lakeland. All this childness and the dog never got her shots, if she was so worried about our dog who had heartworm when we adopted her so many years ago and it's in her file. Dr. Lakeland would of made sure my dog had her vaccines. All the B.S done in front of my child who is on the spectrum btw

Nothing’s perfect.
All of our pets receive care here.
As a pet owner, customer, and person in general let me be clear:
You are not entitled to anything. You deserve nothing and you are not more important than the person next to you.
Let these folks do their job. It’s hard enough dealing with sick pets…so you crazy owners should keep your egos in check while in public.
The staff are great at their jobs. Bring manners along with your pet, don’t ask stupid questions, be on time and let them work.

I bring my dog here because I've had really good experiences with some of the vets, especially since we have a dog that has so many problems (we still love her very much though). However, Dr. Estrada doesn't seem to care. He doesn't listen to our concerns. Our most recent visit, we were concerned with a limp that is so bad she doesn't want to walk or put weight on it and she just looks so miserable. And Dr Estrada didn't answer any of concerns/questions and used old xrays to tell what the issue is and told us everything we already knew but failed to address the new issue. Everytime we deal with him, it's the same. He seems like he just doesn't care at all about our concerns or like he doesn't even want to talk to us to tell us any information. And that's very upsetting because we've had really great experiences with other vets her who listen and talk to us and explain why they came to the conclusions that they do. We are probably going to switch vets offices just because of him.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
