  You guys clearly have a moth infestation in the Purina aisle. We bought a bag of the Purina Pro Plan salmon puppy food and noticed the coloring was off - a few days later we find weird webbing in the food, like spider webs. A quick Google searched revealed that these were leftover from MOTH LARVA infesting the food. We threw out the bag and we back to the store - the second we stepped into the Purina aisle, husband and I noticed moths flying around and the webbing we found in the food on the shelves. I’m super skeeved out by this. We ended up going to a different store and the puppy food was the correct color and free of webbing. Please do better, these moths can infest people’s homes!

  Came in wanting to buy an animal asked for someone to come and help me. Waited 30 min and still no sign of anyone even though they weren’t busy. Terrible.

  Staff was very helpful in retrieving my online order. Store is always clean. I can always find my brand of products at this store.

  Workers are always nice a the place is kept clean. The problem here is the shelves are often bare and certain brands are always wiped out or out of stock. When a particular brand and flavor run out of stock, it could be over a month or longer before it can be seen again even when it’s not a discontinued item. For this reason, I likely will not come back to that location, though it’s a very convenient one from where I work. It’s a shame. Thanks for reading.

  I can't stand going to this Petco. I only go in an absolute emergency for cat food. Unhelpful staff, slow at the cash registers (usually 1 cashier even if 5 people are waiting on line), low stock on supplies, boxes everywhere, overpriced. The store is a mess. The other day I went in and there were no shopping carts to be found, there were no bags available at the register. The manager needs to do his or her job better. This is why I either order on Chewy or go to Petsmart or Mutts & Butts in Merrick. I also recommend a small pet store and grooming place in Mineola on Jericho Tpke. called Pet Story. Any of these places are 100 times better than this awful PETCO store,
