  If you have a reptile, such as a gecko or bearded dragon especially a baby or young adult this petco NEVER has food. Only large worms and large crickets, they don't have small or medium Dubai roaches, worms, super worms. Every time I try for this store it brings me false hope. They really need to do better it's not just about the dogs and cats. They never know when they will get more, or if they can bring some to the store I always have to go out my way and go to 36st for the best experience at petco.

  I’ve visited this location several times, and each time I leave feeling disappointed and honestly upset. While the enclosures for rodents, reptiles, and other animals seem acceptable, the condition of the fish is extremely concerning. Many of the larger tanks contain multiple dead fish, which is both disturbing and unacceptable. As a betta fish owner, it’s especially difficult to see the condition these fish are kept in. Many appear severely unwell—showing signs of fin rot, possible disease, poor feeding, and being left in visibly dirty, unhealthy water. Betta fish are living animals that require proper care, clean environments, and basic welfare standards. Keeping them in small containers with dirty water and minimal maintenance is not only neglectful, but inhumane. I strongly urge management to improve the conditions these fish are kept in—whether that means more frequent tank maintenance, proper monitoring, or reevaluating how bettas are housed and sold. If proper care cannot be consistently provided, then selling them should be reconsidered. This isn’t something that should be overlooked—it needs to be taken seriously and fixed. And if the response is just that it will be “passed on to management,” that isn’t enough—this has been an ongoing issue for years, and there really shouldn’t be an excuse at this point.

  The day I went to get my bearded dragons food I asked an employee for help he said he will come back and help me after assisting another customer so I waited, he never came back and when I looked around he was playing pattie cake with another employee so I just bought dry crickets and left.
