  The store is consistently very dirty, and there is always a long line at the register. It feels poorly organized and not well managed. This location would greatly benefit from improved management and better daily maintenance.

  So I came to this location to return some pads that I got for the family dog but I got them wrong a bit, so I had to return them. The lady who took care of me at the register, had the colorful hair. It seemed like she was nice. But then I realized , you got to be light skin l o l all that kindness was only directed to light's skin folks once I asked to return the item the energy changed smh lol In my mind, most people who do customer service, I don't put too much mind into, because most don't like their job and they show it, but it seemed as if the store was trying to show a more friendlier vibe. It just seemed to be directed to light skin people only other people got how's your day? LOL I jokingly said you're not gonna ask me how my day was she made a face never replied? I even tried to make small talk about why I'm returning the item that I got in the snowstorm, I was completely ignored, she was talking to other employees about some A promotional deal that they didn't know how to use or something of that nature.Anyway, I also was looking at something that said.If you donate $10, you can get the pen.I had this in my hand for a while.She never once said hey , would you like this deal or anything, Anyway, I'm sure it was too much to ask that I would be treated differently than the light folks. it was just noticeable....... 😩😩😩✌️🤷

  Great selection for amphibians such as tree and dart frogs, amazing chameleons' rodentsn small fish and parrots. Immense supply of pet products and treats. One small issue is the poor wuality of live insects and orthropods, as they don't survive long storage and die off in the store. Otherwise a great store.

  Requested an appointment for Saturday, February 14, 2026 on February 4, 2026 (ten days before the appointment). In the request, I had explicitly mentioned that I was going in for a spay consultation and also need to get the second round for a vaccine. Got a call today, February 13, 2026, that they don't do spays/neuters at this location and that they can cancel my appointment and I can make one for the Union Square location. Please consider letting your clients/potential clients know these things with ample time. Not everyone can re-arrange their schedule at the drop of a hat.

  Don’t come here, animal abuse… The fish section is terribly overstocked and filthy. Tanks cloudy w algae, Hundreds of fish in these small 10-20 gallon tanks. Severely overcrowded, dead fish everywhere, incompatible fish together, fish have no room to move all just standing still. Workers don’t know how anything when you ask. They order all these exotic fish then let them brawl out to the death in their tanks, don’t clean it, and just overstock it more w dead fish carcasses floating everywhere. Never seen a petco this bad
