- BCBesik ChkhikvadzeDec 26, 20251.0Visited the Petco at 2601 86th St, Brooklyn for a Vetco consultation with five very small kittens (just over 1 lb each). Staff required me to purchase three additional carriers and confirmed twice before purchase that they could be returned afterward. After the Vetco consultation, no vaccinations or medical procedures were performed because the kittens were under 2 lb. The carriers were used for only a few minutes, remained clean, undamaged, and fully resalable, and I immediately attempted to return them. The return was refused by the manager, who claimed the carriers were “used at Vetco,” could not show any written policy, and became dismissive. When I asked for clarification, the manager threatened to call the police, which was completely inappropriate. I remained calm and was eventually forced to leave the store without resolution. This experience was extremely disappointing due to misinformation from staff, lack of transparency, and unprofessional manager conduct. I am currently seeking resolution through Petco corporate.

It seems like there are 3-5 times more variety of dog toys and snacks at all times. I always want to get some new toy for my cats, but there are mostly 3-5 varieties of chasers and a couple of packets with various balls. Not much to choose from for cats.
