    Employee in this Petco in Gateway they are very professional attending. You ask any question they help you out with no problem. Keep doing a wonderful job. Praise the supervisor. He’s the leader.

    The worst experience! As a new dog owner I brought my 6 month cookapoo in for her first haircut and was recommended to see Catarina. When I arrived I stood outside the door patiently as Catarina saw that I was waiting she continued to groom and bop her head to her headphones in clear view of me waiting. Another appointment walked in and past me that’s when she finally stopped what she was doing to tend to the guest who just walked in, I then explained that It was my first time and had no idea what the protocol was as there is no one at the front desk or in the store to direct you. Again, my first time!!!! After she seemingly was annoyed she took my puppy in and the told me to expect a text or call and that she was extremely busy so it should be awhile. Hours went by and no one reached out until almost 5 hours later. They told me my pup was ready for pick up. I told them I would be on the way and when 30 mins went by they proceeded to call me again as if I was taking to long I notified them that I was no longer able to get someone to pick her up because I didn’t expect the visit to take that long and I had to come get her but I was at work. I ended up showing up in about another 45 mins and was met with a very disgusting groomer who told me he will be leaving notes on my account because I left her too long. He then said they sent me a text hours ago and when I showed him I never received a text he didn’t once apologize for his nasty attitude he then went further to make me out to seem as though I wasn’t being honest. He then went further to tell me my dog hadn’t eaten in hours. I said to him I was under the impression you would give her something especially if you have them for 5 hours he rolled his eyes and told me that I can have a nice day. I stood there in shock as I paid already and left a 15 dollar tip for my groomer and was shocked that I would be treated in such a nasty way as a first timer. My account is also blocked and I can’t make any appointments at the gateway location. I can’t believe that the groomers treat people this way especially someone who had a first visit and was not threatening in anyway. I would give 0 stars. I spoke with the manager but he seem new and didn’t know how to handle the situation was very understanding though. I was given an email that I’m sure fell on deaf ears!!!! DO NOT GO HERE unless you want you and your pet to be treated with no empathy or understanding.

    If you are planning on getting your dog groomed by Katherine. DO NOT ALLOW. My dog is always good with her groomers mainly woman. Katherine is straight rude and got an attitude when you speak to her. My dog DID NOT like her and she didn’t cut her hair correctly and offered that we pay up more for less kettle time when no other groomer had to offer us that. Next time I walk in and she giving off that same energy ima say something. Remember we in east New York not Williamsburg or manhattan.

    Or no visit 8th I bought a loach clown in a African cichlid for my tank notice the clown was acting erratically so I separated the clown two days later that clown passed away I placed it in a sandwich bag and Frozen it in the freezer and bought it back to the store and asked can I replace it with another they said no these clowns are under evaluation now my tank and my African cichlids have ich I am so heartbroken to see My African Cichlids go through that I'm treating them now hopefully they make it through costing me so much time and money I'm praying
