Bond Vet — WIlliamsburg is a modern and friendly veterinary clinic in Brooklyn, at the corner of Driggs Ave and N. 4th. We offer walk-in and urgent care services — that means anything that requires timely medical attention, be it a wound, a rash, diarrhea, coughing, behavioral changes, limping or other non-life-threatening symptoms. We also offer primary care, such as wellness visits, vaccinations, spay/neuter, dental cleaning, mass removal and specialty orthopedic surgeries. In short, we can be your all-in-one vet. Our mission at Bond Vet is to strengthen the human-animal bond through better pet care — because we know cats, dogs and pet parents haven’t always enjoyed trips to the vet, and we think that shouldn’t be the case. First, you can book online, call us, or just walk in. Second, our clinics are friendly and welcoming, with warm lighting, dog treat bars, comfy furniture, toys and hydration stations. Third, our team is compassionate, caring, and completely dedicated to providing best-in-class medical care to your pet. Fourth, our in-house tech team has developed a suite of tools to make medical records easily accessible and to make it easy to connect with our vet team, via chat, telehealth or our 24/7 BondAid helpline. Fifth, we’re big on transparency — we know price is a major factor when it comes to caring for your pet, and we will always offer several paths forward, along with pricing for any diagnostics or next steps. Our team will never pressure you into more tests and treatments than you’re comfortable with, you won’t be surprised by a bill, and we’ll help you file pet insurance claims to save you time. We’re creating a new kind of vet experience that works better for the pets and the people, and we think you’ll enjoy our approach — come on by for routine or urgent care. I don’t think I’m capable of adequately describing how wonderful these people are. Yes, my cat got excellent care and I will return and I will recommend. However, in an unfortunate turn of events, my cat escaped her carrier as I was exiting the cab. She ran down the block and ultimately ended up at the top of a 15, maybe 20 foot fence. A group of bystanders were with me trying to help and one of them ran to Bond Vet to ask for help. Within minutes, a group of employees came to the location and Dr. Lanni, without regard for his own safety, scaled the fence and managed to scruff my terrified cat and release her into the carrier that somebody else was holding. While I was in hysterics on the floor, they rushed the cat into the vet to make sure she was OK. I don’t know what would have happened without their selfless, quick reaction. I will never forget their kindness.

I’d been going to Bond Vet for a while and always thought they were taking good care of my dog, but recently realized that wasn’t the case. They tested him for tick worm disease after he had a few ticks on him and said it came back positive, then told me that every time he’s lethargic or sick I’d need to come back for a $350 test to see if it’s active. I spent so much money doing this over time. I switched to a new vet with much more reasonable pricing, and they did the original tick worm disease test again and it came back completely negative. The vet even showed me the test and explained there wasn’t even a faint line, meaning he never had the disease at all. Bond Vet makes it seem like they’re upfront about pricing, but it’s honestly unethical how much they up-charge and feels like a scam. I even postponed basic care like vaccines and bloodwork because I couldn’t afford their costs. At Queens Low Cost Vet Center, we did five vaccines, a full blood panel, and a tick worm test for $540 total. At Bond Vet that would’ve easily been over $1000, probably more. I wish I’d switched sooner

Genuinely great people who care about animals. My anxiety was alleviated as Andrew assured us it was all going to be ok. Woody is a happier pup after this wonderful experience.

Staff was wonderful, but I’m low income and disabled myself. I had an appointment for 3:30 and when I got to the subway the trains were a mess. I tried calling to let them know I’d be late. All I got was a very annoying AI “Penny” who made me cry because they couldn’t understand anything with subway noise. And I emailed. I was one minute late from the “grace period” of 15 minutes so they charged me $20 more but I only had the exact money for the appointment (cause I’m disabled) and they wouldn’t help me. All they did was take out the staples from my dogs amputation. I was not able to talk to a vet or have any compassion. I was just told that I was late and had interfered with other dogs/cats time. This is not a place for anyone unless they are rich. I cried in the waiting room. Only after I cried telling them I didn’t have enough money did they take out my dogs sutures. It was a difference of $20 that they would not serve me. I literally didn’t have the money.

Bond Vet hasn’t sent our itemized receipts for our pet insurance despite numerous emails and calls. They overcharge, and try to guilt pet owners into unnecessary purchases. The service we received by Dr. Sebastian Betancourt Vasquez was subpar. He was dismissive and talked down to my partner and me. Disrespectful vet, very opaque pricing, strange emotional manipulation. Zero out of five experience.
