I called ahead to say my uber was delayed and would be 15 min late. I was informed of the 15 min grace period and would be moved to a walk in if I was more than 15 min late. I was offered the option to reschedule for a $25 fee and I declined as I believed I would make it in time. 5 minutes later, I received a text saying I would be charged $155 walk in fee if I arrived past the 15 min grace period. I arrived 1 minute past the grace period and was told I would have to wait several hours as a walk in. There weren’t any questions asked about my pet nor was I asked how I would like to proceed. I mentioned that the lack of compassion and eagerness to repeatedly mention the policies is why there are mixed reviews about Bond Vet. She walked away from me and never checked back in. I stood at the desk for 7 min while I booked another appointment at another location and requested my uber. She never came back to follow up. Once I left, I received another text saying I would need to reschedule as I’m more than half way through my appointment. I’m very disappointed with the customer service I received at cobble hill and will not be returning.

I had a terrible and deeply concerning experience with Daniel Bloomfield (I wouldn't call this one a Dr) at this clinic, and despite the medical director reaching out afterward, I never received any follow-up or accountability regarding his behavior. On September 27, 2024, my dog Boomer was in severe, unexplained pain — crying and screaming. This was our first stop due to the urgency. Daniel Bloomfield was late, cold, and impatient, and repeatedly dismissed my basic follow-up questions (when I only asked 1-2 questions regarding the cause and treatment). Instead of explaining my dog’s condition clearly, he responded in a condescending and arrogant manner (including remarks like, “Do you not watch the news?”). When I asked one additional question, he cut me off, said he was late for his next appointment, and implied that treatment could be withheld if I continued asking questions, saying, “If you don’t like it, we don’t have to give the pain medication.” Ultimately, no meaningful treatment was provided, and we left while my dog was still in severe pain. In the hours and days that followed, I visited around 3 other veterinary clinics, including my regular vet and the specialty hospital BluePearl, AMC. Every other team was compassionate, thorough, and focused on reducing my dog’s pain and guiding us to the appropriate next steps. This made it clear that what we experienced here was not normal or acceptable veterinary care. A single provider Daniel Bloomfield with his attitude creates a toxic and unsafe environment for both pets and pet owners - and the lack of follow-up from leadership only reinforces that this clinic tolerates behavior that no one in crisis should ever be subjected to. So, taking your pets elsewhere.

Brought my senior cat in for an illness visit. He was vomiting all weekend. I was hoping it would pass because I was concerned about affordability of treatment. I became increasingly worried so I called BondVet. The receptionist who booked my appt was extremely kind, understanding, and informative—even giving me signs to look out for before I came in for my appt time. I arrived 15mins early and waited for about 30mins to see our nurse. Later, the vets came in and gave him a check up. They asked questions and answered all of mine as well with no rush. They also pointed out some other unrelated things they found during the exam that they thought I should be aware of. They were very understanding of my budget. They provided me with treatment options and were transparent about the cost of each. They talked with me to decide what should be done today, and what could be done later. In the end, I paid $260 for treatment and they gave me a couple complimentary services as well. It was such a relief and they really do care. Thank you BondVet ❤️
