  I love this place! Super easy to get appointments and such lovely staff. Dr. Watiker is lovely! She answers my questions through emails whenever needed and even did so before meeting me in person. It means a lot to me as an anxious pet parent of a senior cat. I always leave confident and reassured and it makes me very happy. Prices are high but that’s NYC for you… and they’re very transparent about pricing beforehand. Thank you guys!!

  The care at Bond is great, I realized I didn’t have a carrier a few minutes before my appointment and the receptionist scoured the back to try to find one for me. The VA was Sigis’ favorite, giving him head bumps and snuggles as the vet read off her assessment and recommendations. They explain the options and the benefits and discuss strategy, they listen, and while the costs are high (for me), there’s no pressure from the team and the convenience (being a block away) is also a huge value.

  I have been taking my dogs to Bond Vet since I moved to the neighborhood about a year ago. They have been to Bond Vet many times in the past year. The vets and vet techs themselves are generally friendly and competent, and I have no serious complaints about them. However, I would never recommend Bond Vet to anyone I liked. The vet fees etc are incredibly overpriced; you get nickel and dimed at every point possible. (Example: you take your dog in for a paw injury; you are already paying for the appointment, medication, testing, etc. Bond Vet also charges you an absurd fee to have the paw shaved—and shaved poorly at that). A visit for a pretty mundane health condition can easily run about $700 with medications etc. I get that vet prices in New York are generally high, but the real issue with Bond Vet is that it is impossible to speak to a real person at the office. Sure, it’s easy to book an appointment online through their portal, but if you have any pressing concern that needs to be resolved sooner than a 24-48 hour window or need a little bit of flexibility with, good luck. When you call the office, you get looped through several unhelpful AI agents. Sometimes there are long wait times to even get connected to a real person. When you finally get transferred to a real person, that person is not actually working at the Clinton Hill office—they’re at some virtual office and can only have your concerns addressed within a 24-48 hour period. It is basically like talking with another AI bot; they just repeat Bond Vet’s policies and appointment times over and over again to you. Everything seems to be done via chat bot or text which can really take a long time to handle! Life is too short to be begging another AI agent over text or on the phone to connect you with someone. Pressing concerns come up with pets, and I personally value at least having the option to speak to a real person—especially at this price point. I’m sort of surprised by all of the positive reviews. EDIT: The AI-generated response to my review from Bond Vet kind of proves my point here.

  Another seamless bond vet visit for Vivian, she hurt her foot/knee they presented different diagnostic options, medication and we were able to take care of her annual well visit all in a quick 30 min visit. Super appreciative to their amazing staff for caring for Viv!
