Dr. Cara Lucarelli and Kay were wonderful!! They took exceptional care of Monte (my 10 yr. old Boxer. I wasn't rushed and all my questions were answered. I would highly recommend them!!

They act nice when you get there. Charged $9,000 for mri and blood work and blah blah. Came up as zero then wanted to send tests out to infectious disease in California. Puppy got a Cfs tap (spinal tap) and they tossed out the sample so that “could” of been the reason for her wobblyness. Dr petcov refused to write a letter to insurance.

I’m so grateful to the team at this animal hospital for taking such amazing care of my dog, Lenny. On Saturday, Dr. Arias helped treat him when he was really sick with HGE, and his care made such a difference. He was incredibly thorough, compassionate, and took the time to make sure Lenny got exactly what he needed. If it wasn’t for Dr. Arias, I truly don’t think Lenny would be feeling this much better right now. What I also appreciated was he kept asking me if I had any questions or was confused about the diagnosis or next steps.
I also want to mention Dr. Lopez, who is an excellent neurologist. She very knowledgeable and you can tell he genuinely cares about her patients which is also my lenny boy for his seizures.
The vet techs who helped Dr. Arias were also incredibly sweet, patient, and kind during a really stressful time. They were so gentle with Lenny and made the whole experience much easier.
Thank you all for taking such great care of my boy. I’m truly grateful.
3/21/26-PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!!!
My dog was in excruciating pain due to a back injury and was paralyzed. We called saying he needed an MRI asap and on the phone the pet hospital told us to come down and they will have everything ready for us asap. We arrive and they put us into a room and tell us they cannot do an MRI becuase their doctor is on vacation. They tell us to drive our crying dog to Manhattan for the MRI where he would have to wait there two days for the MRI!
The vet then asks us if we filled out the paperwork on our beloved pet. We say yes and he responds “ I’m not even going to look at it you gunna need to make a very hard decision tonight. Lookin at 15-20g’s”
I asked him to administer pain meds to help my dog and he responded “ I’m not comfortable doing that!!!!!”
Then they charge us over 200 dollars and did absolutely nothing but cause our dog more pain and suffering!
This was one if not the worst experiences of my life.
They lied, they delivered sensitive information in a cruel manner using slang and jargon and they did absolutely nothing for a paralyzed weeping dog. Please if you care for your pet do not bring them to this horrible place.
I tried calling multiple times to report this to management to attempt to fix these problems so no one else has to go through what I experienced however every time I call management conveniently is in a meeting and I cannot get through
Please whoever is reading this stay away if you love your pet.

THEY SAVED MY SON !! My baby Cooper was in need of emergent spinal surgery. He was in pain and paralyzed lost control of his bowel functions and was not in a good place. I called around to many hospitals. No one could see him that day or even return my call the surgery was time sensitive as the longer I waited increased the percentage that he would never walk again!!! I had called Atlantic coast as a recommendation from my primary vet and I could not be more grateful not only did they answer right away, but they saw me within the hour and Cooper was able to have his surgery that evening!!! Dr Petkov is amazing and the entire team behind him is really one of a kind !! starting from the front desk Lisa And Dylan are phenomenal, caring and personable in a time of extreme stress I was beyond emotional and fearful for my son. They were very comforting and helped put my mind at ease at a traumatic time. Dr.Petkov was wonderful with cooper and preformed a life saving procedure and kept me informed calling me with updates about his condition prior to surgery and when he got out of surgery ( 10pm!! ) this place is devoted to their patients and care about you !! I️ have placed calls all hours of the night and day ( 12pm, 2am even 4am ) and they always answered ( specifically Cory in those late hours ) and no matter how silly my question may have been they always ensured I️ got the answers needed to help my baby recover either answers from Dr. Petkov himself , the clinical team or even another doctor who didn’t even treat cooper ! They all got on the phone and/or called me back and made sure I had everything answered !! The clinical staff Kaylynn and christie worked closely with cooper and rly bonded with him . cooper rly loves them ( you can tell in his post op visits ) it rly shows how attentive and caring they were with him while he was recovering prior to coming home . They are very knowledgable and rly go above and beyond to a point where I️ am left speechless by the amazing care he has received. Even from the front desk ( On coopers first post op visit Lisa at the desk brought cooper a toy !! Out of the kindness of her heart and the pure love for animals. ) i know I️ am leaving people out of this message to thank. But I will say thank you to every single person who works there!!
You have all made what should have been a horrible traumatic time more tolerable and I️ will be forever grateful and as cooper still has a long road ahead of him with recovery I️ trust and know I️ can depend on them to be there for both of us .
If I could give 10 stars I️ would!!!
Thank you all !!
Love Cristina and Cooper ❤️
