I’ve had quite a few problems with this vet but have kept quiet and always come back because it’s close to my house and my dog seems to love the staff. However this was the second time in a row they dropped the ball regarding my dog’s blood work and that was it for me. Last year they failed to tell me that his thyroid panel was time sensitive, meaning he has to take his medicine 4-6 hours before he has the blood work done, or the blood work wouldn’t be valid. So when I showed up for my appointment last year and told them when my dog took the meds, they still drew his blood and sent it out, but called me the next day to tell me they couldn’t run the thyroid panel and that I’d have to come back and his his blood drawn again. This time I remembered the 4-6 hour rule and they did tell me, so I thought it would be fine. When I made the appointment the receptionist asked me what time I give my dog his meds and I told her around 6am. I told her I could only come in on a Tuesday bc that’s my day off, and because they had no Tuesday appointments she made it for a Saturday which was fine. She made me an 11:30 appt, which was ok because it’s within that 4-6 hour window. I got to the appt. At 11:25am, there was one other person in there checking out, and I was immediately put into a room where I proceeded to sit for 20min with no one coming in. At 11:45 I went out to the reception desk and explained to her that the blood work is time sensitive and I needed someone to come take his blood. The lady assured me she’d go tell someone and I went back into the room. The tech came in about 5min later to ask me a bunch of questions and told me that the doctor was busy in another appointment and that they were aware that the time window was expiring. I expressed that I was not coming back for this blood work again. The tech then told me that she’s just a “relief tech” and that the doctor was just a “relief doctor”, which is irrelevant but whatever, and she said there’s nothing she can do bc the doctor was in with someone else. Now. I work in a doctors office. If something is urgent or time sensitive for another patient, we step out for 5 minutes and take care of the time sensitive matter and we go back. We don’t leave our current patient to see another patient, we simply step out, take care of the time-sensitive task, and go back to the patient that we left. I would have waited as long as I needed to for the visit itself, I just needed his bloodwork done within that specific 4-6 hour time frame. I was on time for my appointment, and I felt I was completely disregarded. I’m not saying leave the other patient and come take care of me, I’m saying the doctor could have stepped out, taken his blood, and brought him back and went back to her other patient and I would have waited however long it took for the doctor to be done in the other room. I ended up walking out at 12:05 because I was done waiting and I didn’t want them to take his blood and my money (almost $500 when all is said and done), only to tell me later that his thyroid panel wasn’t valid and they have to re-draw him again. I’m disappointed because it was nice having a place so close to home. Hopefully others do not have the same experience.

Had to renew my dog’s flea & tick medication after moving to the area. Dr. Mann and the staff were great with my dog, and she followed up immediately with contacts on where to volunteer as a therapy dog. Much appreciated!

I was immediately put at ease by the cleanliness and friendliness of the office and staff. Doctor Roller was so helpful, answered every question and put my mind at ease. She is absolutely on the same page as myself and unapologetically puts my cats well being and comfort at the top of the list. They follow up, are thoroughly helpful and my cat liked them (which I promise is no small feat)
