  We love Petco!!! But the Batavia store is in desperate need of employees who want to work there, know the area they are assigned and be more people friendly. The fish department(our main reason for being there this weekend) is so disappointing, tanks were dirty, dead fish in almost every tank and very little variety. Plants were on their sides and some were half dead. The supply areas were ok, I've seen better in this store.

  I brought my dog in for a bath and nail trim. She was fine with the woman they took her back no issues and said it would be an hour to hour and a half. I walked out and within 2 min they were calling saying they couldn’t do her bath because she was in pain and when they tried to get her in the tub she was yelping and trying to bite them. She hopped in and out of my truck just fine no problems. This isn’t the first time they have done this. My dog is a year old super sweet and weighs about 70 lbs. I think the groomers are lazy and don’t want to do the job. Very disappointed with this place.

  I needed crickets and it was very busy … but as soon as the one employee was done with her line she helped me and was super friendly .
