Its like they pick and choose what poc they wanna help and all they have to see when they don't like you is you have to call and text to make an appointment instead of helping me right there when I was asking how I could start and set up. Mind you nobody even picked up even when I called. white women man ☹️

- JSjasmine smallsDec 21, 20253.0EDIT: spoke to a manager i think, i didnt ask for any names, within the hour of two of the response from petco. explained the bettas condition, and he brushed it off in an annoyed way saying “its the holidays” and didnt regard the overfed betta fish. he hung up quickly —————————— organized, friendly and helpful staff member experience i had in the aquatics section for getting shrimp. however in the aquatics section, there was 1 dead betta fish, clearly thay have been dead for more than days, left hidden from customers from severe neglect, as there was a lot of food in his water. there is also overfed betta fish in these cups, with their swollen bellies, and betta pellets all around near the hole of the top of the cups. was told by the staff member that “the employees here dont do their job right” owning two betta fishes (separately) and seeing the severe neglect of these fish breaks my heart, all the time. bathrooms were also not too clean, broken toilet paper in one of the stalls

One of the employees literally scanned it from my hands said I was good and as I get to my car I get an email that my pickup is ready.
