- HGHeather GreenMar 5, 20262.0I recently brought my German Shepherd, in for grooming. The bath and grooming itself turned out well—her coat and nails look great. However, my concern is with her condition after the visit. While still inside the store immediately after pickup, I noticed a red bump on the top of her head. Since that day, she has also been limping and favoring her front right leg. This raises serious concerns about how she may have been handled during the grooming process. The staff appeared extremely busy and overwhelmed. While the customer service felt rushed and short at times, it seemed more like a symptom of understaffing and workload than intentional rudeness. That said, when animals are involved, proper staffing and careful handling are critical for their safety and wellbeing. Pets are family members, and their health should be the top priority. When staff are stretched too thin, it increases the risk of mistakes or injuries. I strongly encourage management to ensure grooming departments are adequately staffed or adjust the workload so employees can perform their work safely and give each animal the attention and care they deserve. Lastly, even tho I had an appointment and came in early it took almost 6 hours. Again, it shows how busy they were. Communication regarding her head injury would've been deeply appreciated, and I'm not casting blame. I understand things happen, stress, unfamiliarity etc. I know my dog and I believe she will be ok, but this experience will have me taking her elsewhere next time.
