I have been a member of Banfield for almost 15 years. I have seen Dr. Sharpe off and on during that time, when she is at a hospital that is convenient for me. My review should reflect a 5 for Dr. Sharpe. She's been a rock for me and my family during some difficult times, and a joy for our furbabies.
However, the front desk staff at this location receives a 2 on the worst days, a 3 on the best. They put people on hold without saying anything to them. They are rude and abrupt with conversations. When trying to make an appointment or reschedule, they act like they don't have your chart in front of them and know what is going on. When the call is closing up, they don't even have the courtesy of a small pleasantry by saying "Good bye", they just hang up on you.
Dr Sharpe is the main reason I keep going here. The back office staff, the technicians who help our animals on a daily basis are friendly and know my animals immediately. But the front desk staff need to have either an attitude change or a career change. I don't want to deal with people like that in an emergency or emotional situation with my animals.

I have been with Banfield for several years, but am new to this office (Rainbow). We are currently seeing Dr Sharpe, who is an excellent communicator and does a great job with my Goldendoodle Charlie. I have no desire to see any other vet.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
