Veterinarian availability varies—book an appointment to ensure one is onsite. Clinics provide only routine vaccines and preventive tests. For emergencies, visit the nearest emergency vet hospital.
I brought my dog in for her annual wellness exam and vaccinations. The check-in process was smooth, but as soon as we were seen by Dr. Brendan MacFadgen and assistant Akane S., the experience completely shifted.
From the start, the interaction felt cold and unwelcoming. We greeted them, but there was no acknowledgment—just instructions to place my dog on the table. When I asked the vet a few questions, his responses were short, irritated, and dismissive. He diagnosed my dog with an ear infection, and when I asked if there were any home remedies I could try, his only response was, “I don’t know.”
Once the exam was over, there were no explanations, no guidance, and no effort to educate me about my dog’s care. The entire visit felt rushed, unprofessional, and uncaring.
I left feeling deeply disappointed and will never trust this clinic with my dog’s care again. This was one of the most unpleasant veterinary experiences I’ve ever had.
