CREEPS! STAY AWAY! I took my cat in to see Dr. Newby for a possible UTI and they tested her for everything but what I came in for. They offered expensive treatments with no real diagnosis. They used a bait and switch tactic to force me into one of their Wellness plans. Also, if you get a Wellness Plan for your animal and the pet passes away, you are still responsible for the monthly payments until the year is finished. Corporate refuses to speak to you and the site manager Heather is cruel and nasty. Even after everything I went through, I was constantly threatened with being sent to collections. They don't care about the animals, all they care about is how much money they can snatch from you. They are still attempting to steal money from my account even though they agreed to cancel the Wellness Plan. I would never recommend Banfield to any pet owner! Banfield is useless, sneaky and grubbing.

(I started out at this location, and then went to the location on Eastern & Ione-las Vegas, and very dissatisfied with their lack of services and customer care, so I went back to the Stephanie location but ultimately decided to not renew).
Once my pet's health care plan was up for renewal I decided to cancel. The attentiveness that I felt my dogs should have been receiving at Banfield's Pet Hospital was not up to my level of standards. I felt that my pet's needs were being ignored. Too many times I had to reach out to the staff about some things that were not done, or missed completing. Several times I believe the staff lied and said that my dogs received services, but their medical records stated otherwise.
I felt that my dogs weight issues were just ignored on several visits because how do you mark his health records as 'obese', but you never bring this to my attention nor do you offer any suggestions. I had to jump through hoops to get them to REMEMBER that my dogs were due for prescriptions for their Simparica Trio, also, I requested not to give certain shots/test because I wanted to save certain benefits towards the end of their plan being that the dogs had already had those tests/shots completed before we started their health plan. The staff acted as tho they were incompetent and totally ignored my request and performed those services anyway causing me to constantly have to remind them that they said they would put a note on the account stating that they owe the pet these services at a later date. I know my comment here sounds confusing, so just imagine my experience of dealing with Banfield. So to sum up my experiences, I felt that my dogs were just a checklist and the staff was not listening nor paying attention to my dogs health, but just checking off procedures that needed to be completed. My male dog is at least 10lbs overweight and no one thought to assist me with any recommendations, showed no concern, but just marked his charts as 'obese'. So when it came time to renew, I cancelled because the plan also went up another $8.00 per month making the plan totally not worth it for the lack of attention to details that my dogs did not receive. I do not recommend Banfield, especially for the prices they are charging. This is/was my experience.

Brought my small dog here for the first time to renew on vaccine shots, I usually go to animal foundation but wanted to try a place close to me. The young Asian lady that helped me was amazing my issue is the pricing. In the email I received it says to bring a small stool sample for them then they try to charge $90 to have it shipped off to be check so I politely declined because I already had it done before so then they charge me $6 to dispose a stool the size of a quarter. Next is the $80 office visit which I think is ridiculous I don’t need yall to tell me my dog health is fine I already know this cause he is super well taken care of im not there for a wellness check and I do have pet insurance, my total bill came to $200 for 3 shots I think that’s way to much I think at animal foundation I paid $80-$90 I won’t be returning.

Update: they were able to fix the payment issues and because of the business took several hours to input the appointment information. The wellness visit was completed, it just took 2 hours and we didnt get to talk to the vet.
Extremely frustrated. I was told on the phone that I was scheduled for an appointment for my 2 cats on 11/20/25 and that the free wellness exam would be for both of my cats since they were both new patients. When I arrived at the clinic, I looked at the coupon and it said only for 1 cat. There was a miscommunication, that's fine, I was happy to pay still. We sat at the vet for 2 full hours and barely received any communication. Over the course of 1.25hrs, my cats received a couple annual vaccines and we waited 45min for the vet to return. Throughout that 45min, we asked if we could pay the bill and receive a followup call because it had already been so long. They said they couldn't let us pay and leave until the doctor came out. We received no information about why things were taking so long until we asked several times.
They said for the wait, they'd allow my coupon to be used for both cats, but would need to have me pay then be refunded the other visit in a week. I was understanding about that. We never saw the doctor. They ended up allowing us to pay and leave after 2 hours of waiting.
The true straw that broke the camels back was that when I looked at the paperwork, the only things completed at the visit were their vaccines. There were no vitals. No weight. It says that my sterilized 9 year-old cat is intact.
I tried really hard to give the benefit of the doubt, but I nearly missed another appointment I needed to go to because the care took so long, then I came to find out that no wellness visit appeared to have been completed. I really hope this can be remedied. Will update.
