While we were there, we spent some time looking at the reptiles and tarantulas and noticed that you had jumping spiders available. We politely asked an associate for help to learn more about the species, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The employee responded in a dismissive and rude way, simply saying “I don’t know,” and made no effort to assist us further. It would have made a big difference if they had at least tried to find the information or directed us to someone who could help. We enjoy coming here, but customer service like this really takes away from the overall experience.

- CCChaskaApr 16, 20261.0I ordered a low entry litter pan for my arthritic cat and the las cruces store filled the order. A friend picked it up as I am a disabled senior , but it was not the pan I ordered. When returned to the store we were told they fulfilled it with "this" one because they did not have the one I ordered. You'd think a pet store would know that a littler pan is not a one size fits all item! It will be 2 weeks before my money will be returned to me because of a listing showing an unavailable item as available, compounded by the store employee's carelessness or possibly, ignorance. I next ordered the correct box from Petco online not knowing that orders were fulfilled from the nearest store. And, Yes, the Las Cruces store sent out the same box I had returned (4inches larger in each direction!). It gets worse. Today I received Petco's effort to send me the correct size box. It is again the same much larger box they sent me before. And, today's customer service was not helpful. I think I am done. If I could given even a lower rating, I would.
