    Mixed actually. The cashier is great: thinking, polite, personable and a confident problem solver. However our challenge did require a manager. Manager one made his declaration on how to solve the problem then ran off. His solution did NOT help: problem persisted. Manager two declared that if the system could not do the return then there would be no return. This customer was HIGHLY DISSATISFIED with that closed-minded, thoughtless answer. A manager who lacks the ability to think about a problem return and even bother attempting to solve it! A manager who ignites the ire of customers! So this CUSTOMER, having never worked a day in retail, nor worked a register before, came up with the solution that worked! I want you guys to realize the second manager is a non-thinking, non-problem solving waste of space. The cashier was absolutely wonderful throughout trying to solve this challenging return - give her big kudos! Even when the first manager knit picked her about use this gift card, not that one she kept smiling and was attentive, communicative and pleasant with this customer. Oh, and your Imagination 20L aquarium top is the measurement it claims to be on the package, but that is TOO SHORT for a 20L!!

    I was waiting in line, I had waited a good 10-12 min. I have back problems so standing for periods of time is difficult. A couple behind me and a woman behind them. A new cashier came to open another line. He quietly and sneakily pulled the couple behind me to check them out even though I was still waiting. I find that so rude. The customers who have been waiting longer should be helped first. If I had seen him do it I would have said something. He purposely did it quietly so i wouldn’t hear.

    Unsafe Animal Handling & Disrespectful Management. I came into this Petco because I saw an online sale on tanks. I ended up purchasing a tank, lid, substrate, and even a corn snake. From the moment I was at the register, it was clear the snake was not properly secured. While standing in line, the snake began popping its tiny head out of the air holes in the box. I had to physically catch it, put it back inside, tape over the air holes, and even get it unstuck from the internal flap of the box—before I even left the store. When I got to my car, it seemed fine at first. But while sitting in the parking lot, the snake escaped through the bottom of the box. I searched my car for 45 minutes. Terrified and upset, I went back into the store to inform them and ask what to do. The wanna be manager on duty, Anthony, was beyond rude, dismissive, and accusatory. Instead of showing concern for the animal or the situation, he spoke to me in a belittling tone and repeatedly implied that I had tampered with the box, making statements such as: • “This is a FIRST for me” • “I KNOW I did the box correctly” • “It wasn’t like this before you left” I was made to feel blamed, talked down to, and completely invalidated. His lack of empathy and professionalism was so severe that I left the store in tears. I returned to my car to continue searching, but the snake is now lost inside my vehicle—a direct result of improper packaging and zero guidance on safe transport. Instead of taking responsibility or educating me, the so-called manager blamed me for their failure. After coming out to my car to further lecture and belittle me, he finally offered a refund. I returned everything, completely shaken. To make matters worse, when processing the refund, they had charged me for TWO tanks—and when I pointed it out, there was no apology or accountability. I have had prior issues at this location, but this was the final straw. The lack of compassion, basic human kindness, and concern for animal welfare is unacceptable. I understand having a bad day—but if you cannot treat customers with respect or handle situations involving live animals responsibly, you should not be working in a store dedicated to animal care. I will never return to this location and will be sharing this experience widely. This was disgraceful and deeply upsetting.
