Friday, we visited with the doctor for our 5 year old tabby that lost his voice for over a week. He had a full work up, he was tested for leukemia and heartworm and he was given his vaxx today. The vet was very thorough. Asked us lots of questions, sorted through his potential causes of laryngitis and also his behaviors since July 1 when he lost his voice entirely. They gave him a towel with a pheromone on it and played a noise maker that had chirping birds to calm him. Concerned he may have adverse responses to the vaxx, they even offered to give him an injection for nausea. Really patient and kind.
