Just saw Dr DeSimone...she was awesome...super friendly and thorough..took the time to actually explain things to me. I brought in my 17 year old cat for a constipation issue. Did not try to push any further testing which is rare to find a vet that doesn't. I can't say enough about her..absolutely wonderful! Best veterinarian I've seen in a long time!

I hate to leave negative reviews of businesses, especially after being a long time patient but since Dr Jablecki left, this vet group has gone completely downhill. The wait time to speak with someone is always crazy long. They can never fit your pet in for sick visits and are now recommending emergency vets 20 minutes away ($400 to treat an ear infection? No thanks). They gave my dog the wrong medication last time and I’m wondering if anyone even bothered to check his records. I am giving them two stars because when we can actually get an appointment, the vet techs and vets are really great, but having to deal with the front desk, the inability to get an appointment in a reasonable time, and lack of staff has made the decision for us to seek out another vet. Hopefully, they will take the patient commentary to heart and make some changes for the better.

Very disappointing. I brought my cat for routine testing and she tested positive for Giardia. Now, they did not TELL me she tested positive. If I hadn't remembered to call them myself about her test results she would have gone untreated for who knows how long. I tried to bring this up to the office staff (which seems run by bored 20 year olds) and they just stared at me like I was speaking another language. I received no follow up from the doctor herself and felt very disregarded. I asked for my cats medical records to be emailed to me so I could go to another veterinary practice, they did not send them. I called asking for her records 3 separate times and only when I stayed on the line with a staff member as she emailed it to me did I finally receive it. Their records system is out of date and their communication is abysmal. They have no idea what's going on in there and when I would bring something to their attention they would pass blame around to anyone else who wasn't in the office. This place is beyond bad. I highly recommend Fanwood Animal Hospital. They are very professional and aware of what's going on with their patients. I also asked WAM about boarding my pet and repeated the dates multiple times, They called me back days after the date to follow up, unaware that the dates I requested had already passed. This place needs help.

Westfield Animal Hospital is back on track. I was not happy with this office the last few times I visited or called, but today I can honestly say things are looking good. The staff was wonderful and friendly and the receptionist was exceptional. Please keep up the good work! Love you guys!

I’ve been using this animal center, I would not call it a hospital due to the fact , twice now I’ve called to see a veterinarian with a sick pet and was told by office staff there are no openings. I love the veterinarians , Dr Jablecki and Dr Alex , but I think office staff has very little training. I’ve noticed that there has been a major turnover with staff and management. I’m sorry but a sick pet should take priority over regular office visits. I have many pets that use this facility and sorry to say I am thinking to transfer to another place, because as I see it if my sick pet needs help I have to resort to the emergency vet in Woodbridge frequently even when my vet office is open. When you call they use to say “is this an emergency or can you hold”, I guess that emergency topic is gone since they don’t seem to take emergencies over check ups and vaccines. This facility is ok for routine matters only which is sad because that is not how they were originally. Shame they still refer to it as a hospital .
