    We had a really good experience at the Petco in Toms River, New Jersey. We were away from home and needed to pick up a harness for our puppy, and the staff made the whole process easy and stress-free. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and willing to point us in the right direction so we could find exactly what we needed. It’s always appreciated when a store makes things simple, especially when you’re not local. Great customer service and a very positive experience overall.

    Absolutely awful!! I would give zero stars if possible. We came In tonight after our fish we had for a few years died and my girls were devastated from having to get rid of it. When we came in we asked Collin for a fish to replace ours and he proceeded to practically interrogate us about what type of tank we had for the fish that we were getting (the .49 cent fish) and we explained to him that we had a 6 gallon sized tank. He told us that he wouldn’t sell us any fish because it wasn’t a 20 gallon tank or more and unless we bought a new tank, mean while you have a tank there with 50+ fish all together!! So since we weren’t getting any fish today we left and had to drive to brick to go to PetSmart (who were much more accommodating) to get a fish for our daughters because he refused to sell them to us and ignored me when I asked why we needed a bigger tank because it was the .49 cent fish!!!! He was nothing but rude and disrespectful and made my daughters cry because we left without a fish.

    Saw atleast 10 betta fish dead in their containers and saw the guy in the aquarium center that looks like shaggy put a live betta in some random dark cabinet. Do better
