BUYER BEWARE. Vetco Total Care will NOT honor the prices on the Petco website.
Had the absolute worst customer experience today bringing my dog in for his annual check-up and vaccines.
The woman who greeted me had no customer service skills whatsoever. She did not introduce herself to me, explain her title or who she was. She did not greet my dog or appear to even like dogs. She did not help get my dog onto the scale to weigh him. Once we were in an exam room, she asked us what services we wanted, then proceeded to show us a cost estimate for OVER $900. OVER $900 for a routine wellness exam and a handful of yearly vaccinations. I asked her why this price was so much higher than the package on the Petco website. Based on the Petco website, it was supposed to be the $155 Maintenance package plus one a la carte vaccine. She said that those prices were for the SUNDAY CLINIC only - even though the clinic is in the exact same office, in the exact same store, accessed through the exact same website, with the exact same appointment scheduler and records portal. I asked if there was any way we could get a discount or price match and she said they're not the clinic and they don't have clinic prices. So if you go on the Petco website and book an appointment for a Sunday, you can get the $155 package. If you book an appointment for a Friday then you have to pay OVER $900.
I asked to speak to a manager and she claimed she was the acting manager. I don't believe this for A SECOND given the way she treated me and my dog. Absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever.
We left without getting anything.
It is absolutely unreal how this is not a bait and switch and how Petco is allowed to operate this way. DO NOT GO TO VETCO.

I recently had an urgent situation with my pet, and I left a voicemail at Vetco in Teterboro regarding my pet being ill. They promptly reached out to me and scheduled an appointment to see the doctor right away. In contrast, Vetco in Kinnelon has never been able to accommodate my emergencies and always puts me on a waitlist, with no exceptions.
From start to finish, Vetco in Teterboro was extremely accommodating and helpful. The front desk staff were pleasant and genuinely connected with my feelings and concerns. The technician carefully gathered all the details about my pup, fully understood the situation, and paid close attention to every detail.
The doctor, Dr. Beiber, was very pleasant, attentive, and reassuring. He treated my pup and prescribed oral and topical medications. When my pup still wasn’t showing signs of relief, I left another voicemail, and the clinic called me back as soon as they opened. Even though the doctor was in surgery, they squeezed me in so he could see my pup once he was done.
Dr. Beiber gave her another steroid shot, changed the topical medication to a powder, and prescribed prednisone. The new treatment worked rapidly—within one day, my pup started returning to her normal self.
I highly recommend Vetco in Teterboro and Dr. Beiber. He and his staff are amazing, caring, and attentive. I will continue to visit this clinic and stay with Dr. Beiber and his wonderful team.

Dr. Rodrigues, Berlin, Henry, and Lisa are great with me and my dogs their bedside manners are incredible and compassionate. They don’t talk down to you and help you understand what’s going on. Everyone is very kind. I really appreciate them in the office.
