  I visited your cheetah bar, New Jersey vet code location On Saturday and my dog was treated by Dr. Rodriguezz. The first thing I wanna say is that they were able to accommodate a last-minute appointment although the website showed that they had no available appointments on that day. Katie, the technician and Lisa were excellent kind and informative real professionals. Lisa also explained the benefits of the vital care insurance which I purchased. The entire team was amazing and my dog is feeling better.

  I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the care my puppy received at Petco Veterinary Clinic. Approximately two weeks prior to our most recent visit, my puppy’s hind leg was nicked during a procedure at this location, which required a follow-up surgery to correct the issue. This incident alone was distressing and caused unnecessary pain and recovery time for my puppy, as well as significant emotional strain for our family. As a result of the injury, she was also unable to proceed with her scheduled grooming services. During our return visit for the follow-up, I requested a simple trim so that her hair would no longer obstruct her vision. Unfortunately, she was brought back to me in an unacceptable condition. I was informed that an emergency surgery required staff to stop her grooming mid-service. While I certainly understand that emergencies arise in a veterinary setting, the overall handling of the situation lacked professionalism, adequate communication, and appropriate follow-through. Given the prior surgical error, I expected a heightened level of care, attentiveness, and compassion. Instead, the experience further contributed to our frustration and disappointment. The cumulative effect of these incidents has caused considerable stress and has diminished my trust in the quality of care provided at this location. I hope that this feedback is taken seriously and that measures are implemented to prevent similar experiences for other pet owners.

  Dr. Behan did not fully read my pet's record and did not answer my questions but rather pushed for having my dog spayed asap. I was there for a 1 year old wellness check for my dog. For context, my dog was previously hospitalized for neurological symptoms as a puppy and another vet from Vetco even recommended a later spay (after her first heat) citing studies. The previous vet even had reservations about giving my pup meds with possible neurological side effects so I had concerns about anesthesia and what tests can be done to mitigate risk. She said "your dog might get breast cancer. Make an appointment with the surgeon." I left there and made an appointment with Hackensack Animal Hospital, where I hope they are more sympathic to a pet parent's concern. I'm seeing the positive reviews for other vets and am so disappointed this was my experience. I felt like my questions were not welcome and my concerns were not addressed.

  Como poder expresar en palabras claras lo acontecido el dia de hoy. Fuimos a un appointment para mi perrita que es mi niña. Y llegamos a un lugar donde se supone aman los animales y deberiamos haber sido tratados con respeto y cariño. A cambio de eso nos encontramos con una persona al frente de la clinica de Vetco con la mas pésima actitud sin cultura y mucho menos educacion. Tratandonos como si fueramos yo no se que. Nos hizo perder el tiempo y la paciencia. Esa persona no debería atender al público y esto tristemente es la segunda vez que pasa. Somos clientes frecuentes ya que tenemos varios bebes y vivimos en el area. Lamentablemente tuvimos que manejar 15 minutos para ir a otro local donde si nos atendieron con respeto y dedicacion. Espero que la Sra.que estaba al frente de la clinica Vetco sea movida de su puesto rapidamente.
