- LGLaura GuarinoFeb 13, 20261.0The pick up was fine HOWEVER when I opened the food to feed my dog it was contaminated with wsebs and larvae. It was disgusting and I had to feed my dog Rice Chex because I had no other food in the house first thing in the morning, I returned to store and they gave me a full refund but no other compensation. When I contacted the dog food company they explained this was contaminated at PETCO somewhere along the line. The bugs were Indian Meal Moth and they can get into the dog food when it is stored next to bird feed. They will not come from the dog food itself. So the problem was PETCOs and not the dog food company which the PETCO employee suggested. I am extremely disappointed and will never buy dog food again at PETCO. PETCO needs to train their staff and make sure this cross contamination is avoided, I will not take that chance again. I am disappointed that PETCO manager is not aware of this and did not offer some other recompense for my trouble.

- DDDawnJan 13, 20261.0Store is dirty! Shelves are always bare! Can never find anyone to assist me. This store is like a ghost town. The main reason I'm giving them 1 star is because I bought a large bag of Nature's Balance Fat Dog Food. As soon as I opened the bag it was infested with egg larvae. Threw out the bag but had my receipt. I was advised they can't return without bringing back the food that must contain 50% of the food. Called the manufacturer, they offered to refund my money with proof of receipt. I will no longer be shopping at this location from herein.

The cashier and the stock person both insisted that they check to see if the food i needed was there, even though I already checked and they didn't carry it. This took an additional 10 min of me standing there just for them to come tell me they don't carry it and proceeded with the return. Then the lady commented about my shopping bag, that she loved it until she saw that it said Petsmart on it not Petco. It was petty, unprofessional and unnecessary. Won't be going back to this store, they don't carry the food I have to give my cat and the employees are miserable.
